Is it Really Fair for Democrats to Terrorize People Like This?

Part of the reason so many angry Hillary voters are violently protesting is because in order to keep gays and women on the plantation, Democrats have engaged in blatant scaremongering tactics using surrogate groups like the Human Rights Campaign (a group that still exists only because perpetuating the illusion of victimhood is easier than getting a real job). And naturally, because these groups have been perpetuating the scare tactics, a lot of gullible Hillary voters now claim to be frightened.

Jay Brown, a spokesman for the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest gay rights organization, said its office had received calls throughout the day on Wednesday from frightened people who wanted to know what the election results might mean for them.
Some callers wondered if they should speed up wedding plans so they could be married before the inauguration, in case a President Trump tries to overturn gay marriage, he said. Others worried that the military would reinstate “don’t ask, don’t tell,” the ban on openly gay and lesbian service members that ended in 2011.

(Oddly enough, this apocryphal story of gays rescheduling same-sex weddings is being echoed by virtue-signaling liberals) in other parts of the country.

For months, I’ve been looking forward to a same-sex wedding taking place this winter, where I would be working as the couple’s photographer. Now that Trump is our President-Elect, they’ve moved up their wedding date in case they won’t be able to get married once he takes office. Another young woman who recently came to her family asked me, “Will it even be safe to be openly gay here anymore?” Another woman in her 30s that I know was emboldened to come out to her family yesterday. “It was hard, but important to be heard and seen.” She said that as scared she is, she feels that this is a way for her to be brave and take action after the election.

The idea that Trump is going to unilaterally overturn gay marriage within a month of taking office is stupid. And if that’s what you’re afraid of, yes, you are also stupid. The Democrat Party keeps you stupid and scared because it’s the best way to keep you voting for them. Even if Trump wanted to… which I doubt he does… it would take years to overturn the Obergefell decision (even if it is a decision that’s unsupportable by any objective reading of the Constitution).  And I don’t believe he has any intention of doing so. The Democrat Party every election scares women into thinking birth control and abortion will be outlawed by Republican presidents; none of whom have ever even made any attempt to outlaw either.

The willingness of people willing to go through life ignorant and frightened for the benefit of a corrupt political party is both baffling and offensive.

Could these things be connected?

Item 1: Over 2 Million Hillary Supporters Sign Petition To Overturn Election Results. This is spectacular hypocrisy and as well, unawareness of American civic practices (or how American democracy is supposed to work).

Item 2: In October, John Podesta (Hillary campaign chair) had a lot of his emails exposed. In one, his associate oddly mentions how they all “conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry”.

Seeming to refer to the decades-long dumbing-down of America, Podesta’s associate said:

And as I’ve mentioned, we’ve all been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry. The unawareness remains strong but compliance is obviously fading rapidly.

(Emphasis added) Could these 2 developments be connected?

Drama Queens of the Week

First Nominee, this DNC staffer identified as Zach:

‘You and your friends will die of old age and I’m going to die from climate change. You and your friends let this happen, which is going to cut 40 years off my life expectancy.’

Second Nominee, this silly little thing from NaNoWriMo

I’ve been sobbing for the past hour because who was just elected of president. I’m gay, a woman, and a pagan, and Donald Trump is extremely rude to women, and says that he wants gays and anyone other than people who believe in one god to go to correction camps.

Tell you what, pumpkin. If Donald Trump really does institute Death Camps for gay people, foreigners, and people who don’t “believe in one god,” then come 2020… I owe you a Coke.

Katy Perry — a woman with standards so low she had Russell Brand as a boyfriend at one time — calling for ‘Revolution’ (I don’t think she even knows what that word means and I’m equally sure someone had to spell it for her) because her candidate lost.

The NAACP… (which maybe should be renamed the NAADQ, Nation of African-American Drama Queens.)

“Even as we extend our congratulations to President-Elect Donald J. Trump, the NAACP, as America’s oldest and largest civil rights organization, must bluntly note that the 2016 campaign has regularized racism, standardized anti-Semitism, de-exceptionalized xenophobia and mainstreamed misogyny. Voter suppression, as the courts have declared, has too become rampant and routine.”

All the people in this video, but especially the chubby snowflake at 1:07 in. And all the college snowflakes who are so traumatized because their candidate lost that they can’t take their Midterms.

I haven’t checked in at any of the gay left websites… because, why bother?… but I can guess the fainting couches are soaked in tears.

All the left-wingers on Facebook replacing their personal pics with black squares.

Gosh… who else… I’m sure you can think of someone.

Update: We have a late entry from emotionally insecure California Senator Barbara “Don’t Call Me Ma’am, Soldier Boy” Boxer and someone named Chelsea Handler. I had to look up Chelsea Handler on Wikipedia to figure out who she was. Apparently, she’s sort of a Clearance Rack Amy Schumer.

These are some of the funny memes I’ve seen since the ending of the election. The one on top of the jump pretty much sums up my reaction to the election. Seen any funny post-election memes? Post a link in the comments. If they make me laugh, I’ll add them to the gallery.

Garrison Keillor Sounds Bitter and Butthurt

The Washington Post saw fit to publish these bitter rantings.

So he won. The nation takes a deep breath. Raw ego and proud illiteracy have won out, and a severely learning-disabled man with a real character problem will be president.

The Trumpers never expected their guy to actually win the thing, and that’s their problem now. They wanted only to whoop and yell, boo at the H-word, wear profane T-shirts, maybe grab a crotch or two, jump in the RV with a couple of six-packs and go out and shoot some spotted owls. It was pleasure enough for them just to know that they were driving us wild with dismay — by “us,” I mean librarians, children’s authors, yoga practitioners, Unitarians, bird-watchers, people who make their own pasta, opera-goers, the grammar police, people who keep books on their shelves, that bunch. The Trumpers exulted in knowing we were tearing our hair out. They had our number, like a bratty kid who knows exactly how to make you grit your teeth and froth at the mouth.

We liberal elitists are now completely in the clear. The government is in Republican hands. Let them deal with him. Democrats can spend four years raising heirloom tomatoes, meditating, reading Jane Austen, traveling around the country, tasting artisan beers, and let the Republicans build the wall and carry on the trade war with China and deport the undocumented and deal with opioids, and we Democrats can go for a long , brisk walk and smell the roses.

What do you want to bet that the Washington Post had all kinds of “Come On, Guys, She Won, Let’s Work Together” columns already written before last Tuesday night?

A study in contrasts

Two black women support LEGAL immigration (as do I), border security and Donald Trump. About a year ago they felt angry – and expressed themselves peacefully. (h/t CrayCrayPatriot for telling me about them)

That’s good.

Now for the contrast: Shamefully, two black men this week beat up a (perceived? real or imagined?) Trump voter. (h/t Zero Hedge and InfoWars)

That’s a disgrace.

The difference here isn’t race. Isn’t era. Isn’t oppression-privilege “experience” or dynamics. Isn’t anger level. Probably isn’t even gender, all that much (since some women do fight, and many men don’t).

The key difference is IDEAS – and MORAL CHARACTER.

As Aristotle is supposed to have said:

Anybody can become angry – that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way – that is not within everybody’s power and is not easy.

Exit question: Are Hillary or President Obama out there, telling people in no uncertain terms to calm down and accept the election’s outcome? (If yes: I’m glad, and feel free to post the link in the comments.)

UPDATE: Via ZH, a high school girl is attacked (by another high school girl) for supporting Trump. Pathetic!
