Social Justice Wankers Determined to Ruin Absolutely Everything

November 27, 2016 by V the K

The Social Justice Left hates “No Shave November for ‘promoting Toxic Masculinity’ and ‘transphobia’ among other sins.

Social-justice warriors worldwide have rushed to point out how the month-long event, regardless of its good intentions, is too gendered. In a nearly unintelligible sentence published by Sydney’s Daily Telegraph this month, one critic wrote: “It’s disappointing that what could’ve served as a much-needed dialogue about the many ways in which men, trans men included, can express their masculinity without resorting to chauvinist caricatures is in danger of devolving into at best a pissing contest between bros about who can grow the most facial hair to prove their manliness and at worst an implicit endorsement of 1950s-style gender norms, complete with transphobia.”

“Movember irritates me because it’s not so much about cancer awareness as masculinity awareness. … Movember says that we protect men by celebrating masculinity. And that’s ridiculous,” wrote Jacob Brogan in Slate last November.

Jacob Brogan irritates me because he’s a Trump-grab-target who probably pees sitting down.

Most feminists’ writings seem like Word Boggle… Just randomly selected “trigger” words strung to without meaning.

Just for the record, I won such a contest at my gym last year.

Oooh, he forgot that it is also racist for not including men from demographics that do not grow much facial hair, such as Native Americans. OMG! I am so triggered that I might have to sob like a hipster in a ‘I’m with Her’ T-shirt on election night!

I cannot for the life of me why adults are allowing these people to define any conversation whatsoever. Can’t we just ignore them? Or pat them on the head and tell them how impressed we are that their $60,000 education has left them incapable of rational thought.

After decades of indoctrination in public schools, this is what we end up with, men that loathe themselves because mostly feminazi teachers brainwash them.

The SJWs could join the no shave November cancer awareness movement by not shaving their legs and armpits, but they already don’t shave them, so they’re feeling left out. Jealousy is a strong undercurrent in the lefty psyche.

And I guess breast cancer and cervical cancer awareness, despite being targeted mostly at women, isn’t sexist or misandrist?

I swear, feminazi hatred of men is nothing more than a more elaborate form of Freudian penis envy.

And another piece of the al-Cray-da puzzle falls into place.

You (claim to) drop the mic at least three or four times/month.

Could you at least be funny just one of those times? Or at least try?

Part of the thing that irritates me with the cause-of-the-month campaigns is that they are promoted in a shaming sort of way, so that if you don’t participate, you are somehow a lesser human. (Or, alternately, somehow for the disease/condition which the campaign is against.)

So that a favorite TV station which I rely on for area news has most of their on-air talent (and a few behind-the-scenes personnel) grow facial hair for once a year. I’m not sure what the inducement is for participating (or penalty for balking), but it results in the lead male anchor looking like a douchey hipster (complete with the pastel jackets he’s rather fond of wearing on occasion) or else a younger version of The Most Interesting Man In The World and the somewhat dubious-in-everyday-appearance investigative reporter looking more like one of the sketchy element he’s trying to track down. Meanwhile, the newer twentysomething guys often take most of the month to look like they are anything more than lazy shavers.

All in all, I’m not sure what awareness they’ve raised other than further proof that many men don’t look good with facial hair.

There’s a delicate difference between ‘dropping the mic’ — and clumsily fumbling it.
