Keith Olbermann’s hilarious meltdown (“It’s a coup! The Russians have taken over!”) puts him way out in front as the left continues competing in the “Who can be most deranged about Donald Trump” contest, but others, goddess bless them, are trying.
Ali Wentworth, the wife of Democrat Media Operative George Stephanopoulos’ (presumably not moving to Australia as she declared she would before the election if Trump won) appeared on
the Shrill Dingbats Saying Stupid Things Very Loud Show ‘The View’ (whose co-host Joy Behar is right up there with Keith Olbermann on the whole ‘the Red Are Taking Over’ deranged paranoia thing) is apparently scaremongering her own children over the aspect of a Trump presidency.
“I have an eleven-year-old daughter who doesn’t really understand what ISIS is but she knows that she is scared and she is now sleeping in bed with us every night,” Wentworth said.
“Yeah, so what do you do? You got little girls, you see what’s happening,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg responded. “What can you say to other parents who are at their wit’s end with their children who are scared, and they’re also scared as adults?”
Wentworth responded to Goldberg before she continued describing the distress her children have felt since election night.
“It just involves my fourteen-year-old getting upset about the election and screaming ‘no abortions’ really loudly,” Wentworth recalled.
Oh, honey, if your fourteen-year-old daughter is worried that she won’t be able to get an abortion, you may have more serious parenting issues than losing an election.
