The Left cannot be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear! And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead!

Following up on the BSA post, Kurt Schilchter says that now is not the time to start playing nice with the people who hate us and everything we stand for.

Liberals are fearful because they know the kind of oppression they absolutely intended to inflict upon us if they had won, and they worry that we will do to them what they wanted to do to us. Well, I say let’s make their fears come true by demolishing their cultural edifice of hate and tyranny. Let them rule over the smoldering ruins of their dreams of power.

Look, none of us want to spend our lives in permanent battle mode, but there’s no time out for the foreseeable future. We don’t have a choice. Our enemies – and understand that progressives are our enemies, not just opponents of good will who merely disagree with us – will not give up. They can’t give up, because they are so invested in liberal fascism and in controlling us that they have nothing else, leaving them no option but perpetual cultural and political war. We would rather life get back to normal, but there is no “normal,” not anymore.

You may not care about politics, but politics cares about you, and if we just give up and let these nanny state parasites go unchallenged we will eventually wake up in chains.

He has a point. The last two Republican presidents… both Bushes… bent over backwards to accommodate and appease the left. Bush 41 signed onto the largest tax increase in history (in exchange for a promise of budget cuts in the future, which never happened). Bush 43 let Ted Kennedy write “No Child Left Behind,” increased domestic spending at a rate that would have made LBJ blush, established the TSA as a unionized Federal bureaucracy, created an entitlement to prescription drugs, tried like hell to get Amnesty for illegal immigrants, and massively expanded the Federal Government in the name of “Compassionate Conservatism.” And did Democrats show him any courtesy whatsoever?

Meanwhile, the last eight years under Obama have been “Eff You” to the half of the country that didn’t vote for him every single day. It’s been about LGBT getting revenge on people who disagree with them by driving them out of their jobs, ruining their businesses, and indoctrinating their children. It’s been about the Obama DOJ gelding local police forces on behalf of thugs. It’s been about the Social Justice Left being allowed to disrupt the lives of people who just want to learn or got work. It’s been about wealthy progressives constantly finding new and creative ways to express contempt for the middle class. Every. Stinking. Day.

Democrats don’t care about courtesy, civility, or cooperation except to the extent that those things mean “Republicans STFU and STFD.”

  1. Great post.

I wouldn’t consider it to be a permanent battle mode, per Schilchter. Merely, always being on guard & ready to fight. Which is a normal in a world where enemies exist. Some people consider me extreme, but until an active opponent is extinguished, they remain a threat. I believe it’s possible to obliterate the Democratic Party & don’t think the “kill one & another will take its place” is a valid argument against doing so.

  3. I’ve put it differently:

The United States did not begin the Marshall Plan until AFTER Germany surrendered. It did not begin the McArthur Plan until AFTER Japan surrendered. Once both were totally defeated, then, and only then, did we show the kind of compassion and understanding that they finally understood what true compassion was. Continue to get rid of Democrats and progressives wherever we find them. Break down the system where government spends taxpayer money to get re-elected. Destroy the SEIU which is unnecessary and merely bloats the government with overpaid and unnecessary jobs. Promote local charities and lift the limit on charitable donations on schedule A while limiting what is a deductible contribution–homeless shelters, soup kitchen, free clinics: YES – PACs, activist groups, political parties: NO–then start eliminating programs best done by charities — Food Stamps, WIC, just to name two. Allow employees to transfer part of their Social Security tax to a private, and separate IRA you are in charge of, but cannot touch until you turn retirement age, in exchange for reduced benefits from the SSA.

When they see that these policies produce far more benefit for those they themselves claimed to be helping the left will finally be dead.

  4. Boy.
Many on the left blame Obama for being too deferential to the right. Some onbthe left still blame Obama for appropriating a conservative national health care plan in lieu of single payer.
Many on the left still call Obama “deporter in cheif”
The vast majority of your Obama “Eff You” example have nothing to do with Presidential policy and will continue no matter who is president.

Folks on the left “fear” Trump because he appears incompetent, is corrupt and appears to have a small intellectual capacity

  7. It just so. Those of the left are simply this, and today’s left never ‘play well with others’. It is ‘my way or the highway’. And the highway is the preferred option over all craving in that must be done to please the left.

The left is a child. The left is the terrible lover who demands everything, and never gives anything Like that person – the free person must allow, accept – and hit the road. The person is a childish monster, and NO is always the right answer.

    Really good posting.

  8. mike (#4), the left doesn’t fear Trump, they hate him and anyone who voted for him. The only reason why they might fear him is that since he is not a traditional politician, he might actually try to keep some of his promises, rather than yield to the leftist position at least a little.

  9. Agreed. The left is not about give-and-take; it is about power and control. The left is not about tolerance and live-and-let-live; it’s about directing our lives and imposing its will on others.

I read the piece VtK referenced yesterday (Anthony Bourdain) and was struck by Bourdain’s reference to the “authoritarian right”. Funny – it’s the left that punishes (and, where they can get away with it, criminalizes) dissent.

It’s lefties that want to imprison “heretics” that don’t toe the global warming climate change line.

Lefties once hooted at none other than Tipper Gore who wanted labels applied to obscene CDs (telling people to “just not listen”); now it’s lefties that want to decide what other are allowed to read and hear.

Note to lefties: you are not smart enough, nor do you have the right, to tell me, or anyone else, what I can read or listen to. I wonder if, when Milo’s book comes out, colleges across the nation will host book-burnings.

Lefties loved to go on and on about Hollywood’s “black list”; now the left black lists anyone that falls out of line. Mark Steyn referenced tweets by some SJW aimed at Paul Simon’s sweet comment about Carrie Fisher – despite Fisher and Simon having been married some time back. Steve Martin, who knew her, was also subjected by policing from the angry vagina left.

When the left says “you’ll never work in this town again”, they mean it and they can make it stick.

The left is intent on destroying society. One has to look at the wreckage piling up around the world (look at Chicago… Europe) yet lefties keeps going – never pausing, even for a minute, to contemplate real victims.

The left is in no way liberal. It is totalitarian and intolerant.

mike – you do know that the government counts anyone turned back at the border as a “deportation”, don’t you? No wonder the numbers are skewed high.

Also, nothing about O-care (or Romney-care if you prefer) is “conservative”. It’s true that healthcare financing in the US needs a major overhaul – I just don’t much confidence in the people that currently claim to know how to do it.

  11. “It is evident that the socialists set out in quest of an artificial social order only because they deemed the natural order to be either bad or inadequate;

and they deemed it bad or inadequate only because they felt that men’s interests are fundamentally antagonistic, for otherwise they would not have had recourse to coercion.

It is not necesary to force into harmony things that are inherently harmonious.

Therefore they have found fundamental antagonisms everywhere:

Between the property owner and the worker.

    Between capital and labor.

Between the common people and the bourgeoisie.

    Between agriculture and industry.

Between the farmer and the city-dweller.

Between the native-born and the foreigner.

Between the producer and the consumer.

Between civilization and the social order.

    And on, and on.

And, to sum it all up in a single phrase:

Between personal liberty and a harmonious social order.

And this explains how it happens that, although they have a kind of sentimental love for humanity in their hearts, hate flows from their lips.

    Each of them reserves all his love for the society that he has dreamed up;

but as for the natural society in which it is our lot to live, it cannot be destroyed soon enough to suit them, so that from its ruins may rise the New Jerusalem.”

Thanks to the Left and the expedient-compliance of many Republican leaders over the last 80-years we’re already shackled to those chains, the Left is only interested in negotiating how much slack we get this-month. Chains forged link-by-link like Marley’s Ghost every day of our lives…

  17. We need to continue the fight against the Left and clear them out of the schools where they have settled to teach lies and indoctrination.

Also we need to put an end to their fake virtue signaling and expose them for the stupid corrupt slime they are with their hypocrisy, corruption, racism, and general intolerant douchebaggery. It would lose them a ton of simpleminded followers who are with them to look hip, on the right side of history and cool if instead the reality of who the left is was exposed – like the picture of Dorian Grey.

  18. TheQuietMan @ #8 hits the nail squarely on the head.

    KCRob @ #9 notes:

…The left is not about give-and-take; it is about power and control. The left is not about tolerance and live-and-let-live; it’s about directing our lives and imposing its will on others.
    (…)
The left is in no way liberal. It is totalitarian and intolerant.

The right stands for small government and limited intrusion on individual rights and freedom. The left demands a huge government with octopus tentacles and suction cups reaching into every aspect of our daily lives and suction-cupping us into the coils of the tentacles of government where we are made by sheer force to comply with the totalitarian social justice engineers who determine what is “good for us.”

littlelettermikey, the fascist listens to the extreme leftists and is so seduced by their totalitarian siren songs that he could almost be the Reichsministerium für Volksaufklärung (Minister of Public Enlightenment.)

Leftists are forever calling dictatorships the creation of the extreme right. Some, indeed, are. They are anti-democratic. But other dictatorships are the creation of the extreme left: Mao, Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Castro, Hitler, Chavez/Maduro, etc.

Socialists like littlelettermikey, the fascist, just can’t understand how taking money from some and using it to support themselves and tinker with the lives of others is not a growth plan for all.

It is passing strange that extreme leftists scoff at “trickle down economics” at the same time they claim that “trickle down welfare payments” boost the economy. What a bunch of maroons.

  21. And do not forget:

    The left never apologizes.

The left never says, “we’re so sorry we were so wrong!”

    Never feels responsible.

    Never feels sorry.

    Never feels ashamed.

Am I full of it? If I am:

Where are the cries of outrage of a Michael Moore, a Sean Penn, an Oliver Stone, a Bernie Sanders… against this:
