DJT versus the DMC

President-Elect Trump recognizes what should have been obvious to Republicans for years; the press are his (and their) adversaries. The mission of the mainstream press in America is to help advance the agenda and fortunes of the Democrat Party.

Donald Trump treats the press as though they are his enemies. Tactically, this is the correct move. Discrediting the press will weaken their ability to generate scandals during his administration. Even if they manage to find a legitimate scandal (after spending the Obama years being willfully blind to Benghazi, Fast and Furious, IRS targeting, mismanagement at the Veteran’s Administration, and all the rest of them), it will be harder for it to gain traction with the public.

And it wouldn’t be possible if the press hadn’t already “golden showered” away their credibility during the campaign and the previous eight years.

BTW: Ain’t it something that 4Chan is now where the Government and the Media are sourcing their intel?

  1. You nailed it, V! This is why the DNC-Run Media will not have any bearing whatsoever on President Trump’s watch. He simply won’t allow them to control the narrative, and they are nonplussed as to how to deal with him. Thus, they’re cut off at the knees.

    The Donald is brilliant! 🙂

  2. I LOVE how PE Trump just crushes them.

Like the little pin heads that they are. And they still think it’s all about them.

  3. PoliticsUSA exaggerates decline in approval rating:

RealClearPolitics shows the dip is pretty low:

But, the point is made that it doesn’t help that he hasn’t released his tax returns. Will he ever? I know that if he were a Democrat, GP would be b!tching about it to no end with the theme, “Traditions don’t apply to them; they think they can do whatever they want.”

  4. I have never cared about the release of any candidate’s tax return. What purpose does it serve?

  7. The idea that TRUMP would pay hookers to piss on a bed Obama previously slept on is insane as John ” Tokyo Rose” McCain. If McCain was not the son of an admiral he would have been tried for treason, but then again he would have been kicked out of the military after his first 2 plane crashes.

  10. I have never cared about the release of any candidate’s tax return. What purpose does it serve?

Nor have I cared either, but the reason for doing so is allegedly so that it can be determined whether the candidate is “under the influence of a foreign government” as an article I saw last summer describe it.

Yet the Clintons released their returns and I heard nothing about them so apparently they donated most of their income to the Missionaries Of Charity and the Salvation Army. Still, their eponymous foundation has had numerous contributions from foreign entities directly connected to foreign governments. And no one—save for Hillary Haters—was claiming that she might be compromised by those donations which would be considered shady under almost any other circumstances.

Meanwhile Mitt Romney released his returns in 2012 and what did it get him? Assertions that he was another out-of-touch rich white guy who has a separate elevator for his cars at his second home, for chrissakes.

  11. @RSG:

Your comment reminds me of the obnoxious anonymous driver driving under heavy rain and splashing passers-by in Douglas Adams’ Life, the Universe, and Everything, with a sticker that reads:

“My other car is also a Porsche.”

  12. CrayCray really just needs to drop his “independent” act and own up to being a card-carrying member of the Leftist conspiracy to dismantle Western Civilization.

  13. releasing personal information is something people like Vince only require of Republicans.

    Tax returns.

But, I get it. You would be flustered if a Democrat didn’t do it and would keep on harping on about it.

It’s okay. You can say it. No one is going to throw anything at you.

    Comment by CrayCrayPatriot — January 12, 2017 @ 5:29 pm - January 12, 2017

  14. Actually, CrayCray, here’s why it doesn’t matter.

Furthermore, you have proven through your own history that you will attempt to use personal information to blackmail and slander others.

You are not interested in facts or truth. You are interested in power, and you will do anything to get it. As Harry Reid makes clear, there is no moral line that Democrats like yourself will not cross to get power over others.

No one should consider you as a serious person. They should consider you as a spiteful, hateful individual whose only purpose for posting here is harassment and self-aggrandizement.
