Donald Trump’s Super-Gay Presidency Rejected by LGBT Activists

January 28, 2017 by V the K

If the LGBT activists groups were really concerned with the social acceptance and well-being of gays, lesbians, and other marginal sexual groups, then they would be overjoyed to have a Republican president as unabashedly pro-gay as Donald Trump. Alas, these groups are not really about helping the people they purport to help. They are just hyperpartisan fronts for the Democrat Party. And so, they will not give the most pro-gay president in history his due credit.

And at the convention, Trump, accepting the party’s nomination, said, “As your president, I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of the hateful foreign [Islamic extremism] ideology.”

Following a standing ovation and roaring applause, Trump broke from prepared remarks that were handed out to media in advance.

“And I have to say,” he said, “as a Republican, it is so nice to hear you cheering for what I just said. Thank you.”

The country couldn’t have had a more pro-gay president if it had elected Elton John on Christmas Day.

But instead of celebrating the broad acceptance of a pro-gay presidential candidate, the gay groups chose to nit-pick and over-dramatize. “He held the rainbow flag upside down!” they fumed. “He deleted the LGBT web page from the White House website!” they lied. They would rather repeat the Narrative that is helpful to Democrats, then acknowledge the reality that is helpful to gay people.

Let’s be honest, even if these group knew that Trump’s more serious vetting of migrants from Islamic Supremacist countries was going to space the country another Orlando Pulse massacre, they’d still oppose them because they would rather ingratiate themselves with the Democrat Party.

The vetting process for Syrian refugees is long and involved. What is wrong with it? And where are the terrorist attacks in the U.S. from refugees?

Why did he invoke 9/11 regarding this new policy when he didn’t include the countries of the 9/11 attackers in the ban?

The vetting process for Syrian refugees is long and involved. What is wrong with it?

It may be long and involved, but when you have a known terrorist group which has indicated it will attempt to infiltrate refugee populations and when a number of refugees have purposely destroyed identity documents (either for reasons of personal security or for more nefarious reasons), can the vetting ever be really complete? At some point in time, we (or any country who takes them in) is simply going to have to take their word for who they say they are. That’s potentially a very big risk for any host country to do, particularly since tracking after they are admitted is often spotty.

That doesn’t even address the disparity between the treatment of Muslim immigrants vs Christian immigrants. Muslim immigrants from Syria have been given a green light to enter, while Christian immigrants have been severely restricted from entering the US. (Presumably because Christian immigrants in a majority Muslim country face no discrimination at home and have no valid reason for leaving.) It’s obvious to anyone who looks closely at the situation to see that the Syrian immigration issue is largely one of politics on the part of the receiving countries as opposed to a straight-up humanitarian issue.

Where is the evidence that Christian refugees are being denied U.S. entry?

And why aren’t Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Turkey included in the ban? Because Trump has business ties to those countries? Or because he’s worried about terrorism?

That’s not how a vetting process works. And, as president, he should know that. As well, if he wants to exercise his power accordingly, he would educate himself on the vetting process and enforce elements that he finds lacking.

it has never been about your rights, it has always been about the advancement of the leftist political agenda. this is true of all the rights movements. when will people ask the rights groups what kind of rights do citizens have in a leftist country?

    Cray Cray:

The Syrian Christian population was not 10% for a while, but Christianity is almost gone in Mohammedan countries because they vilify and kill anything that is not like themselves. Mohammedan countries are subhuman and nearly prehistoric in their views, but I hope you don’t equate Muslims with open-mindedness and goodness.

    Not all Muslims are barbarians.

Expose a Muslim to Western Civilisation (or look at a Muslim who grows up in Western Civilisation) and it’s an entirely different matter.

But, you’re right. Let’s just show them all in one group and enact policy.

Are all Muslims barbarians? Of course not. Straw man fallacy aside, as an American I recognize that I’m privileged to live across an ocean from them and therefore generally see a different set of Muslims (more exclusively those who were higher up in the socioeconomic ladder) than Europeans do. Given that the refugees are lower on the ladder, I argue that Europe is therefore a better case to examine & draw conclusions from.

What have Europeans seen? Aside from the well documented crimes committed by those recently “exposed” to Western civilization (including barbaric cases of sexual assault), you also have a majority who support criminalizing homosexuality in the U.K. ( http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/11/europe/britain-muslims-survey/index) and otherwise embracing regressive attitudes at significantly higher rates than the general population.

I’m excited to see Trump do what no one else is willing to do – be a grown up, stop and assess the situation with a temporary halt, and then take action. I’ll continue to look forward to the most pro-gay President in history doing great things for the LGBT community despite all the shouts against him from the very people he’s helping.

There was a story on PCNN earlier this evening about the poor refugees stranded in the Middle East. The reporter sneered, “The refugees are asking for mercy and compassion, but those are not high priorities under the Trump administration’s ‘America first’ policy.”

And, as San Bernardino, Chattanooga, Orlando, Fort Hood, Boston, and Benghazi proved, protecting the lives of Americans was not a high priority under Barry’s and Hitlery’s “America last” policy.

Speaking of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the UAE, I don’t see why it’s our obligation to take in Syrian refugees when those countries won’t. Or why it’s inhumane to turn away unvetted Muslim “refugees” (i.e., ISIS Trojan Horses), but OK to turn away Christian and Yazidi refugees.

Not all Muslims are barbarians. And not all gun buyers are homicidal maniacs, but if I go to a sporting goods store and buy a shotgun and/or a box of ammunition, I still have to show I.D. and pass a background check. I’m willing to put up with that inconvenience if it will help prevent just one violent crime, and immigrants should be willing to submit to a vetting process if it might help prevent another terrorist attack.

Trump is probably the most pro-gay rights president the US has had. He was openly for gay marriage when Obama and Hillary Clinton still opposed it. But professional activists and community organizers still promote the myth that he is going to put all the LGBT people in concentration camps. They don’t care about facts, they just want an issue to justify their sinecures.

Why would any self-respecting person look to a political figure for validation? I don’t want my president to be pro-gay; I don’t get a feeling of warmth and satisfaction when my president sends signals that he’s comfortable with my sexuality. I don’t want my president to care about my sexuality.

It’s distinctly possible that Pres. Trump may have just played the Pink-hat Liberals and their fellows travelers yet again with this “ban”. A federal judge has temporarily blocked most of it’s more-onerous provisions on the ground, but he’s won by issuing the Exec. Order in the first-place. He’s fulfilled yet another important campaign promise to his supporters, and his White House can point to the federal judge’s injunction if it’s not being implemented in reality.

“…Trump did as he promised. It’s the Judge’s injunction that’s preventing it’s implementation. We respect the authority of the Courts.“

I like “Pink-Hat Liberals”, it rhymes with Pinko Liberals. “Pink-Hat Fascists” just doesn’t have the pejorative-impact like “Jackboot Fascists” has… Sad.

The Saudi, Turkey, Egypt and the UAE are also stable sovereign states where civil order and public records are intact and available for vetting immigrants, and very few “refugees” originate from them. Compared to the political and civil anarchy in those countries on the list.
