What Again?

Another gay leftist drama queen shrieks out against gay people who leave or are thinking of leaving the Democrat Social Justice plantation.

I feel like there is a growing (or at least more vocal) group of conservatives claiming legitimacy on LGBT issues because they’re gay.

But what these homocons advocate and who they support are quite harmful to LGBT people and their equality.

I’m going to try to be more proactive about calling out these homocons and holding them accountable for harming the LGBT community. – Zack Ford, ThinkProgress editor (i.e. paid Democrat Media Operative)

What’s with all the sudden pearl-clutching, couch-fainting, and panty-wetting? Is it because there’s a pro-gay Republican president and the Democrats are terrified of losing their ownership of the LGBT community, donations, and votes?

    Uh – YES. Next question?

  2. This all is like the stray that carries on at the door for a handout. You might, once, thought it fit to give it over, but the habit has grow tiresome. Stop the habit. There maybe some noise – for awhile, but the stray does go away after awhile. The sense of entitlement for the’revolution’ is a tiresome bit of nonsense.

  3. How is wanting to prevent people who think that homosexuality is a sin that should be punishable by death from coming to this country harmful to gay people?

  4. The kicker is that the Leftists see themselves as heroes whereas in reality they would be like their hero Soros and would be supporting the Nazis pulling the gold teeth from dead people and considering it the best days of their lives.

  7. Trump openly advocated gay marriage when Obama and Hillary Clinton publicly opposed it. Trump signed an EO to continue a policy protecting gay employees from workplace discrimination. Yet Trump is “harming LGBT people and their equality.”

Trump and Clinton want to bring in 200,000 Omar Mateens and Tashfeen Maliks every year. People whose religion mandates the death penalty for homosexuality. Trump wants immigrants to be carefully vetted before admitting them. And his “Muslim ban” targets countries that even the Obama administration designated as being “of concern.” Yet it’s Trump’s policies that are “harmful to the LGBT community.”

Madonna wants nurses, firefighters, cops, linemen, plumbers, farmers, and mechanics to feel sorry for her because she is “oppressed.”

Anti-Trump thugs are rioting, looting, setting fires, and beating up unarmed victims. But Meryl Streep says that Trump supporters are Nazis, Fascists, and “Brown Shirts.”

Rosie O’ Donnell and Sarah Silverman want a military coup to overthrow the government. Democrats are looking for Russian spies behind every bush.

Isn’t this the part where the camera pans over to Rod Serling and he says, “You have just crossed over into…the Twilight Zone”?

  8. Randy Berry, the [gay State Dept.] Special Envoy for the Human Rights of LGBTI Persons, was the first to serve in the position created in April 2015, and will “continue in his role in the current administration.” Tasked with the promotion of LGBT rights abroad, he was also further appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor by Obama earlier this year upon the conclusion of his presidency.

  10. Why are all the latest posts about identity politics? Isn’t it The Left who engage in those?

Meanwhile, Pence is gradually positioning himself for the presidency while Trump continues to light more fires than he can put out. That’s a helluva lot more interesting to cover …

  11. What’s funny are the links to an article wherein someone in the Independent says he won’t accept gays coming out as Trump supporters.

Who in hell asked him? And why should I give a hoot?

  12. “Men are so simple of mind, and so much dominated by their immediate needs, that a deceitful man will always find plenty who are ready to be deceived.”
    ― Niccolò Machiavelli

By the time Lenin and then Stalin came along, the “simple of mind” men became the useful idiots.

Understand, using the Alinsky – Machiavelli form of dominance, men are quite malleable and easy to manipulate if your deceit is aimed at attracting them by way of their immediate needs.

Edward Bernays, the nephew of Sigmund Freud, achieved the distinction of being the father of modern propaganda and made it his life’s work to develop the art of motivating and shaping public opinion. Bernays wrote:

It is not necessary for the politician to be the slave of the public’s group prejudices, if he can learn how to mold the mind of the voters in conformity with his own ideas of public welfare and public service. The important thing for the statesman of our age is not so much to know how to please the public, but to know how to sway the public. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.

These concepts, separated by half a millennium, help to illuminate the modus operandi of the DemoningRats. The DemonizingRats leech onto any group of disaffecteds and they deceive them by promising to lead them out of their discontentment. The manipulators do not have the winning strategy, their only task is to agitate and demagogue. All they need to do, is to win an occasional skirmish which they blow out of all proportion as if it were equivalent to D-Day, such as close down a bakery over a wedding cake.

Trump is a force to be reckoned with whose time has come. The loyal followers of the DemonizingRats feel jeopardized, menaced and even exposed. The firebrands, among them respond with reactionary zealotry. Others cry and crawl into safe places. But, feeling emotionally wounded, they are incapable of objective reasonableness.

Now the DemonizingRats have a contentious struggle on their hands. They know they can not win by analytics, so they up the discord and bitterness. And they fight in dirty and unscrupulous ways. Obama: If they bring a knife to a fight, we bring a gun.” It is how community DemonizingRat agitators roll.

  15. Does anyone still buy the narrative that the left wants the Republican Party to soften its stance on gays, to reach out to gays, to welcome them? Was that ever the narrative?

    Comment by Niall — February 15, 2017 @ 10:44 am - February 15, 2017

  16. Was that ever the narrative?

Yes, it was, at one point in time. Objective observers will notice that has indeed happened. But not the SJWs who will not admit that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were opposed to anything other than traditional marriage less than a decade ago. Mike Pence’s Electroshock Conversion Therapy Holiday Camps™ are proof of that.

The bar always moves when the goals get nearer so that nothing will ever be enough and the Republican Party will always be racist, nationalist, homophobic, sexist, and all those other things they abhor. But most of all it will be predominantly capitalist, and that is the real rub for many in the equality parade. Because, as they are wont to remind us, “None of us are free when one of us is oppressed.”

  23. Joey: Ah, I get it now. Thanks for the clarification.

A lot of the commenters at Towleroad can be very lockstep. There are a few conservative trolls too. And then there are a smattering of reasonable people who have something intelligent to say. All in all though, there seems to be less commenters than they’re used to be (I used to visit the blog a lot in the 2000s and have only recently just started returning). Maybe a lot of them have migrated to JoeMyGod.

  24. Cray : Okay. But JoeMyGod is the worst !! If there was ever a silly little group of pathetic no-life guys pretending they’re now part of a real-life clique by staying in an echo chamber…..oh man ! ( We need more independent gay blogs where different viewpoints are respectful of each other. I’m more conservative but try to be independent, and I think any society needs some left-wing/liberal elements too).

From their reaction you think I bagged up a bunch of puppies and kittens, beat the bag with a hammer and threw it in a river. lol I dared to walk away from the dem plantation. Oh! Apparently voting for Trump means you’re a racist. *eye roll* yeaaah.
