“Gay Dance Freakout” at the Texas Governor’s Mansion.
What a stupid use of George Soros’s money.
BTW: The WSJ tried to prove that the protesters at Republican Townhalls. aren’t Astroturf by asking them if they were paid or organized. And wouldn’t you know it, all the ones they asked said, “Gosh, no, we’re just citizens alarmed by the horrors of the Trump Administration without any kind of organization or agenda behind us. Why, up until the Republicans threatened to take away the health care of women and working families, I’d never even attended a PTA meeting, tee-hee.” The WSJ also didn’t bother to didn’t bother to check the Facebook page of their representative woman who declared “I’m not political.” Also apparently didn’t notice the professionally printed, identical signs the “grassroots, unorganized, spontaneous” protesters were bringing with them.
If these people think they’re changing anyone’s mind to their side, they’re dumber than they look.
I don’t remember the exact who’s who but Mark Steyn wrote about the Million Mom March, portrayed as a grass roots movement by a concerned housewife.
The fawning media failed to mention that the mom had worked at CBS as Dan Rather’s publicist, had run a US senator’s office and was related to prominent Friends of Bill & Hill.
At a certain point, the benefits “a cause” receives from professional organisation is exceeded by an overwhelming interest and participation.
For instance, the women’s march in January. If attendance in, let’s say, Montana was 1,000, or even 5,000, I’d say, yeah, okay, maybe it was all astroturfing.
1% of Montana’s state population physically showed up on their day off to participate in a women’s march. Montana. One of the geographically biggest, yet lowest populated (and generally conservatively-bent) states in the union.
If someone has the stats on Tea Party rally attendance in that state, I’d definitely be interested. Might put things into perspective.
nice
Vince: So suddenly, crowd sizes matter again? After the media dismissed the numbers of the Right to Life rally in Washington?
Are transgenders upset something? There was a protest in Boston for trans.
I really don’t know how they expect this will change anything, except make the gay community look bad. Eventually it’s going to turn against them when people get sick of all these protests. At least for what I see they didn’t light anything on fire, destroy businesses or beat people up this time.
Or the numbers at President Trump’s inauguration too, I might add.
Regards,
Peter H.
Or the numbers at President Trump’s hanger sized campaign rallies too, I might add.
Or Clinton’s sized down campaign rally venues.
@ 6, basically Trump is taking the Trans bathroom bill out of the federal level and leaving it up to the States to decide, boo hoo
Feel free to post all those numbers. I was trying to do an apples to apples comparison.
