“How Many Genders Do You See?”

March 7, 2017 by V the K

Sometimes I feel like I’m Captain Picard, and the SJW’s are Cardassian Torturers trying to get me to say “There are 57 Genders.”

[youtube]https://youtu.be/3kmG7KXxShM[/youtube]

It is imperative for the Left to get people to deny self-evident truths; it is the only way the Left can prevail.

I don’t see any genders because gender is an abstract concept that refers to the way some languages are constructed. I see the outward manifestations of sexes, however, and there are two of them.

If you bring this gender confusion issue to the attention of local, regional Democrat doyennes & patrons, they laugh it off. As if it’s merely a harmless peccadillo of one of the Left’s factions. Even though they’re all complicit in either their strategic silence or promotion. Perhaps normal Democrat men & women hope that they’ll be elected to their their building’s commissar, with sights set on the position of block committee chairman – if they applaud this twisted support of mental illness.

I hope that the psychiatric world is preparing itself for consequences of all this, when the pigeons come home to roost.

Human children, without exception, are born from the union of sperm and egg. Sperm comes from a males, egg from a female. Being able to mingle the DNA of two females still requires the sperm of a male. All human children, without exception, are born from the union of male and female. That truth is self-evident and undeniable.

It has been so for hundreds of thousands of years and generations.

Child psychologists will tell you, and numerous studies have been done confirming this, that children grow best in a family with a father and a mother. Lack of one or the other increases the chances of problems occurring. It is therefore in the best interest of society and its future, to promote, defend, and help heal, traditional families.

Attempts to blur the lines of gender, to accept as equally valid, any other arrangement and call it a family, is to tear at the very cornerstone of society.

We do so at our peril.

Being one that gives regard to science (here being focused on biology), I find myself with the phase that keeps coming to me with this need of the regressive left’s new science of genderism; There are two genders, and three sexual orientations with all the diversity we need in this reality.

As to the rest – when this madness has run its course, there will be so many destroyed lives requiring the services of professional to try, and make good lives wreaked by this gnostic ‘gospel’.

Actually, a LOT longer than that — even self-fertilizing hermaphrodites need to combine a sperm and egg (not a sperm and a sperm or an egg and an egg) to make a baby.

You have to go out of the animal kingdom entirely to find sexually-reproducing species (certain algae and fungi, for example) that do away with the sperm/egg distinction entirely. Mind you, they have to combine two sex-cells to reproduce, but each gamete is “unisex” — I suppose you might call them “speggs,” by analogy with “spork.” 😉 And yet their reproduction is still “hetero”, in some sense, since the “speggs” come in different strains — say, A, B, C, and D — and two speggs from the same strain cannot fuse. So A+B, A+C, and A+D can “make a baby,” but not A+A or C+C.

Sometimes I feel like I’m Captain Picard

Patrick Stewart is a chameleon onscreen so it’s only fitting that he’s just as willing to undergo transformations offscreen. The actor dressed in drag, sporting a pink satin dress, platinum blonde wig and full makeup, Monday night during a Los Angeles screening of “Blunt Talk.”

Blunt Talk, a raunchy, new comedy starring Patrick Stewart as a misguided anchor … it is transgender actress Trace Lysette … in a recurring role of Gisele … Lysette does get topless when Stewart’s character attempts to hire her for the night. Easily a raunchy moment, it stays tempered. “The biggest concern for me was that the tenderness stayed intact,” she explains of the on-screen moment, which happens to be her first nude scene. “Who better to be my first than Patrick Stewart? I’m thankful that it was classy and sweet.”

Interviewer: The opening of the first episode involves your character, Walter Blunt, picking up a transgender prostitute. But it’s not what you might expect from a comedy from 10 years ago, or five years ago, or even last week. She’s treated with respect and their time together is tender, not a dumb joke.

Stewart: It’s due to Jonathan [Ames]’ own experiences and his sensitivity. We were both a little nervous about that scene and how it might appear. We didn’t want to make easy jokes at the expense of someone who’s had very intense, not to say painful and troubling, experiences. But the next thing was the casting of Trace Lysette in the role, who gives such a beautiful performance of great subtlety and honesty and openness. The scene becomes sweet, almost sentimental where it could have been broad and coarse and offensive. I don’t think it is.

@7 – CCP: help me out. Being fabulously wealthy and holding a sign helps women how, exactly?

Women in Muslim cultures (Malmö, Sweden for example) tend to get victimized yet we dare not notice. A lot of women that are subject to domestic violence tend to be shacked-up with ne’er-do-well men but marriage is just a useless piece of paper (or it was until it become a gay civil right).

Lesbian relationships tend to be more prone to violence:

    http://www.advocate.com/crime/2014/09/04/2-studies-prove-domestic-violence-lgbt-issue

And then there’s the problem of women attracted to (and staying with) partners that like to beat them up. But, of course, women are simply victims with no agency or power to change their situation.

Anecdote: a friend of mine used to work with a women regularly beaten by her man (but she “loved” him and wouldn’t leave). Every time she was roughed up, the other gals took up a collection. He never donated.

Finally, one of the gals asked him why he was such a scrooge. He replied that 1) she wouldn’t leave him and 2) he’d be more than happy to donate a cast iron skillet if she’d promise to use it on the jerk (coupled with leaving, an ideal solution, IMHO).

What does make sense is this: There are people with guy parts who wish they had gal parts, and there are people with gal parts who wish they had guy parts. The others are completely undefinable, and so untestable.

(WARNING: Article includes an adorable picture of Stewart in a Lobster costume)

When Alfred Stewart concluded his military career as a regimental sergeant major of the Parachute Regiment, he returned home an angry, violent man. “He was a weekend alcoholic who beat up my mother and terrorized the house,” Stewart says … by age 7, he knew “exactly when to insert a small body between the fist and [my mother’s] face, a skill no child should ever have to learn.”

Despite the abuse, Gladys never left her husband. “She loved him,” Stewart says. “My brothers and I would say, ‘You must leave him.’ But she never would.” …

… “People were moved to tears when Patrick spoke about his childhood experience of domestic violence,” says Refuge chief executive Sandra Horley. Now one of the organization’s key patrons, Stewart has fronted many of its high-profile campaigns.

He is also the face of Amnesty International’s Stop Violence Against Women campaign, and last year he appeared at an event sponsored by the human rights group Breakthrough to launch its global campaign, calling for 1 million men to pledge to end violence against women and children.

His work on behalf of battered women is something he’s extremely proud of. “I do it for my mother, because I couldn’t help her back then,” he offers. But these days he honors his father’s memory, too …

… Stewart quickly consulted PTSD experts and gained an appreciation for his father’s travails. “Civilian slaughter, his life endangered, the possibility of being captured and in a prisoner of war camp for who knows how long,” Stewart explains. “He never got treatment. He was told to pull himself together and be a man.” The discovery, Stewart says, has allowed him to “reassess” who his father was, but not excuse the behavior. And it has propelled his efforts to help prevent others from suffering. He has signed on as a patron of Combat Stress, a British charity that supports veterans struggling with mental health problems.

These endeavors have brought him full circle. “I work with Refuge for my mother, and I support Combat Stress for my father,” he says.

    Why do Abuse Victims Stay?

“You’re telling me that your husband beat you up. I would never put up with that abuse. Why don’t you just leave him.”

We often put ourselves in the place of the victims and imagine ourselves leaving at the first signs of abuse. But breaking free of abuse is not simply a matter of walking out the door. Leaving is a process.

It can be difficult for many people to understand why a person would stay in an abusive relationship. But there are many reasons. Strong emotional and psychological forces keep the victim tied to the abuser. Sometimes situational realities like a lack of money keep the victim from leaving. The reasons for staying vary from one victim to the next, and they usually involve several factors.

    Emotional reasons for staying
belief that the abusive partner will change because of his remorse and promises to stop battering
fear of the abuser who threatens to kill the victim if abuse is reported to anyone
    lack of emotional support
guilt over the failure of the relationship
    attachment to the partner
fear of making major life changes
    feeling responsible for the abuse
    feeling helpless, hopeless and trapped
belief that she is the only one who can help the abuser with his problems

    Situational reasons for staying
    economic dependence on the abuser
fear of physical harm to self or children
fear of emotional damage to the children over the loss of a parent, even if that parent is abusive
fear of losing custody of the children because the abuser threatens to take the children if victim tries to leave
    lack of job skills
social isolation and lack of support because abuser is often the victim’s only support system
lack of information regarding domestic violence resources
belief that law enforcement will not take her seriously
    lack of alternative housing
    cultural or religious constraints

Let’s stick with the subject, shall we?

I realize people have varied sexual tastes, and that’s fine. But that, in and of itself, is not gender. But this stuff has been in the works for a while, now.

After my transition to male back in ’01 and going to the local LGBT clinic for an appointment, the attending doctor would ask me upon check-in what my identity was, and I sat there, confused. I said, “Well… I just went through all this to become a guy. What other choices are there after becoming a guy?”

He looked at me shocked, like I was from some other universe. How dare I question their perfect questionnaire on gender???

It’s a bit nutty that a lot of you ladies at AW have me pegged as a far leftist. Not all, but a lot. It almost resembles a far right version of “virtue signalling.”

It’s actually mind-blowing, as a lot of you ladies are quite smart and articulate. But I guess I’ve just gotten desensitised to this rather extreme and distorted perception. It’s pretty shocking when one considers the substance of a lot of my arguments on GP throughout the years.

But, I get it. Most of you dislike me and would prefer I left (as you might with any centrist who leans left or maybe even right). Some of you are more open-minded. But, considering the time and effort I’ve invested in GP, the return on investment in drilling through that hardened exterior many of you sport has been pretty low.

    Sad.

    So
. Vince offers constant defenses of the Democrat Left.

How does that make one a far-leftist?

He thought Ashley Judd’s deranged rant was “a great speech.”

Yes, her delivery was. You can be objective about delivery removed of content, can you? Or can’t you? It sounds like you can’t.

He has effusive praise for Barack Obama, Jerry Brown, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton.

    Yeah, so? They’re all “far-leftists”?

He defends BlackLivesMatter and every other left-wing activist group that comes along.

“Every other left-wing activist group.” Yeah, where’s the evidence of this constant barrage of support for an assortment of such groups?

He’s totes okay with the Government running health care

Oh, yeah, because “pure capitalism” hasn’t been given a chance in the American marketplace. Because that will fix everything. And I guess you’re calling for an end to all entitlements and socialised government programs, is that right?

and shutting down politically incorrect businesses

Have I ever seriously championed a bakery being shut down for not making a gay wedding cake? (I’ve actually made comments about radicals going too far here)

but then gets pissy because people think he’s a leftist.

P!ssy is a stretch. Befuddled more accurate. And, again, the term I used was “far leftist.”

That’s because Vince is not a Leftist. He’s a troll.

Are you the Juan that wrote on here that the repeal of DADT was rooted in the gay left’s obsession with military pornography? Or are you a different Juan? And, your definition of “troll” is a bit overly inclusive. Better check your bias and take your blinders off.

  25. Juan says

    March 8, 2017 at 11:53 pm - March 8, 2017

I am not that Juan. I am another Juan.
And. “In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal, on-topic discussion, often for the troll’s amusement.”
I think that covers what you attempt to do pretty much.

Juan > For those with reading comprehension skills and no bias who have paid any attention to my comments over the last seven years on GP can discern for themselves just how much my contributions here have been valid discourse and how much has been trollish behaviour. I’m no saint, but I’m also not entirely the far leftist troll a lot of you have convinced yourself of. In fact, I’m much less the latter these days.

Simply because you and others believe it, doesn’t make it so.

  28. Hanover says

    March 9, 2017 at 2:54 am - March 9, 2017

:::Saying so, doesn’t make it so::: only applies to the Leftist [unnamed] & not to anyone on the Right on gaypatriot. After all, incantations & fantasy are all the Leftists really have going for them now. It would be a shame for [you] to assign your only workable [sometimes & only when bleating to the chorus] formula, to others. Phony baloney mistake. Conservatives & other denizens on the Right have no need to make anything up. It’s not we who are unnatural & experimental.

However much I’d like to stick to the actual definition of a troll, it’s broad use by every commie jerk on the Left has rendered it meaningless. That’s called throwing you a bone, #29. I don’t expect gratitude.
