Is America Clamoring for Chelsea Clinton?

Clinton allies at Politico and the Hill are breathlessly reporting every time Chelsea Clinton tweets. The Hill has done 16 stories about Chelsea Clinton this year, and tweeted about Chelsea Clinton 70 times.

And now she’s out pushing a feminist-themed children book, about a rude woman who won’t shut up even though nobody wants to listen to her. It was inspired by Liz Warren. (IANMTU)

I don’t understand why a party so badly out of touch with Middle America would want to choose a woman who has amassed a vast fortune while accomplishing nothing; got handed a six-figure media job by fans of her parents; married a hedge-fund manager; and lives in a $10,000,000 New York apartment to be the face of their party. But that is neither my circus nor my monkeys.

Face it, Chelsea inherited her dad’s integrity and her mother’s charisma. She’s only being propped up because the Democrat Party loves dynasties and entrenched political power.

  1. If there’s one example of anti-charisma in US politics that I can think of, it would be Chelsea. The Dems, so desperate, so grasping. Sad. Their dysfunction is so complete they can’t even manage to sabotage themselves correctly, picking a former obama flunkie instead of the mohammed congressman to run the DNC.

  2. America has a fever and the only prescription for it is more Chelsea Clinton…

  3. The Clinton family/dynasty/mafia makes Bernie Sanders look good, intelligent, informed, benevolent, disingenuous, and… a top notch business man.

Do I need to add anything?

  5. My first thought was why do the Democrats love dynasties so much? Some of the Dems in my office are talking about Michelle Obama for president down the road. And I’ve seen a number of fawning articles about Jack Kennedy Schlossberg eventually seeking high office. He might well be a bright young man of 24, but isn’t it way too early to be talking about electing him president? Don’t the Democrats have *anyone* between, say, 35 and 60 who is in line ahead of Mr. Schlossberg? Well, of course they do, and apparently it’s Chelsea Clinton.

  6. My first thought was why do the Democrats love dynasties so much?

My little pinky told a good while ago this may have something to do with an ideological core that looks up to supermen as their benevolent self-appointed masters as long as those are able to keep a continuous stream of …

    1) promise free stuff stolen from your fellows

    2) finding good enough excuses as to why that still wasn’t enough

No idea where does my little pinky got its sources from, though.

Oh, wait… Huh?! that itch, again?!

  9. Clintastasis Chelserium is a secondary malignant growth which is more voracious than the primary mutation.

It has a near aphrodisiac effect upon moonbats, toadies, leeches and suckers. It is particularly infectious among DemonizingRats. A secondary marker of Clintastasis Chelserium is Webb Hubbel lips.

In common language, synonyms for Clintastasis Chelserium include: pointless, incompetent, feckless, barren and empty. It can not be spread except by genetic inheritance. Another characteristic is that you can not satisfy its reach or intake.

  10. The prescription to treat Clintastasis Chelserium properly will cost you $600,000.

    A year.

The only pick up points available for that have been exclusively arranged in buildings where NBC News operates.

  11. I think we need a law-if necessary, a Constitutional amendment-saying that you can’t be president if your parent, grandparent, sibling, or spouse ever held the office. We don’t need a dynasty or a royal family, whether their name is Clinton, Obama, Kennedy, or Bush. We’ve had enough politicians whose platform was basically, “It’s my turn.”

  12. Chelsea doesn’t have Bill’s political skills; and (giving Chelsea benefit of the doubt) isn’t as devious as Hillary.

I have no idea what she offers on her own.

  14. Yea, Chelsea has worked at McKinsey & Co., NBC as a special correspondent, and New York University. She didn’t stay long at any of those places before settling in at the Clinton Foundation.

Even when you are born with a silver spoon in your mouth you have to produce for employers who are not your family otherwise they won’t keep you on.

    Maybe.

  16. Granted, though, take a guy like Bernie Sanders (him again), ever since he’s been kicked out of a hippie commune in 1971 for insisting on engaging the dudes and gals in political topics, while sitting and watching them work on the house… he’s been super productive.

In producing utter bs, that is.

Or voting “yea” to raise the debt ceiling every freaking single time. He wasn’t alone, you bet.

Funny how the guy seemed to rediscover the Federal Reserve’s ugly deeds and became vocal about it not until Ron Paul 2008 election campaign, though. Only to stab Ron Paul’s audit bill in the back 2 or so years later — I’m guessing after taking a short phone call of the likes some say JFK may have missed.

But anyway. Oh the irony — he was getting kicked out by hippies almost at the same time Nixon was hitting the last nail in the Dollar coffin. Yet, Bernie stayed cricket-buzz-silent on the one thing that rips off the poor and middle class the cruelest.

Then again, what does one expect from someone who believes a reduction in the market offer for deodorants would be a sign of a healthier economy?

Funny how the left is always so much into frugality — for others to apply to themselves — and generosity in giving away one’s fair share — by others to perform, likewise.

  17. Maybe Chels will have her own personal awakening and decide she’s transgender. That would get her the Dem vote she doesn’t already have locked up (who could be be against the nation’s first transgender presidential candidate?) and it would probably result in a marked improvement in her appearance.

  19. Apparently there are still those who are clamoring for Chelsea—Expedia, for one. They just named her to their board of directors. Obviously it was because of her extensive business and travel-related experience.
