What Deceit and Malice Look Like

First, some stuff that sounds almost reasonable (if a bit histrionic). From Hillary’s Twitter stream on Oct. 24, 2016:

Donald Trump refused to say that he’d respect the results of this election. That’s a direct threat to our democracy.

Per the Daily Caller link above, she went on to say:

That’s not the way our democracy works. We’ve been around 240 years. We’ve had free and fair elections and we’ve accepted the outcomes when we may not have liked them and that is what must be expected of anyone standing on a debate stage [ed: like herself]…

[Trump is] denigrating—he’s talking down our democracy. I for one am appalled that somebody who is the nominee of one of our major two parties would take that kind of position.

And this is from Hillary’s concession speech on Nov 9, 2016:

Last night, I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans…

We have seen that our nation is more deeply divided than we thought. But I still believe in America and I always will. And if you do, then we must accept this result and then look to the future. Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead…

…if we stand together and work together with respect for our differences, strength in our convictions and love for this nation, our best days are still ahead of us.

So far so good, right? But now from the new book “Shattered”:

That strategy [of blaming Russia, thus de-legitimizing the election – or trying to] had been set within twenty-four hours of her concession speech. Mook and Podesta assembled her communications team at the Brooklyn headquarters to engineer the case that the election wasn’t entirely on the up-and-up. For a couple of hours, with Shake Shack containers littering the room, they went over the script they would pitch to the press and the public. Already, Russian hacking was the centerpiece of the argument.

I added the emphasis – so that those who have eyes, may see.

Advice to Democrats; Don’t Change

Please.

Fight the power, damn it! Look in the mirror and repeat after me:
I’m special.
I’m uniquely blessed with moral insights from somewhere – definitely not God.
I’m right.
And everyone else is wrong.

Based on how Chuck Schumer, Tom Perez, and Nancy Pelosi are running the Democrat Caucus, it seems the Democrats will continue to follow Mr. Schilchter’s advice: “Avoid any and all introspection, keep blaming the Russians and ramping up the contempt for Middle America.”

Should the Government Legislate Morality?

A generation ago, the answer would have been. “No, of course not, what kind of a fascist are you?”

These days, the answer from the Democrat Progressive Left is an enthusiastic and obscenity-modified, “F–k, yeah!”

In fact, the Left is now claiming that Big Government is something we should all embrace on the moral principle “because that’s what Jesus would have wanted.”

We see it with cradle-to-grave entitlements, as they demand we must do it because “Jesus was a socialist!” We see it with amnesty, as they demand we must do it because “The pope says so!”

We see it when they insist that we adopt their version of “Who we are as a nation,” which always ends up meaning “Give more!” (Never mind that the phrase “Who we are as a nation” chills free speech and implies that we’re a monolith, thereby negating what we are, which is a nation of free and diverse individuals.)

And it’s mainly because when the Government forces *other people* to conform to the left’s moral choices, it relieves them of the responsibility.

Consider those who insist that health care is a right (it isn’t), but never bothered to ask their own insurers about putting their uninsured friends or neighbors on their own policies. Instead, they just sit around patting each other on the back for insisting that the government force us all to be as charitable as they never have been or will be individually.

According to the UK Daily Mail, football thug Aaron Hernandez left behind three suicide notes. One to his fiancée, one to his daughter, and one to his prison boyfriend.

Sources close to the investigation tell DailyMail.com that the third letter was written to Hernandez’s gay prison lover, who has not been identified but was believed to be the last person Hernandez spoke to before he took his own life.

Now that man is currently under ‘eyeball to eyeball’ suicide watch.

Hernandez’s family, by the way, are continuing along the “avoid personal culpability” pathway, claiming alternately that Hernandez was murdered or killed himself due to traumatic brain injuries caused by the NFL.

Thanks, once again, to 4Chan, the violent leftist thug who was caught on video bashing Free Speech supporters in the head with a bike lock has been identified as Eric Clanton; an instructor in Philosophy at Diablo Valley College in California who teaches — I am not making this up —  “ethics, critical thinking, and comparative philosophy.”

Cowardly piece of human filth Eric Clanton is seen on video sneaking up behind a Free Speech supporters at a protest in Berkeley and bashing him on the head with a bike lock; because leftists are as cowardly as they are violent. BTW, according to his Amazon account, he ordered 14 bike locks with one day delivery shortly before the protest. (So, either he gets a lot of bikes stolen… or he was arming his fellow progressive leftists.)

Now, having been identified, will he be arrested? And if arrested, will he be prosecuted? And if prosecuted, will he receive a harsh sentence, or will he be, in the words of Obama’s mentor Bill Ayers “guilty as sin, free as a bird.” Given the cozy “no enemies on the left” attitude of Berkeley Law Enforcement (who even coordinate “symbolic arrests” with their fellow socialists), it’s not very likely.

Remember, this is California, where the criminals go free and the state prosecutes the people who expose the criminals.

In the left’s self-constructed mythology, there are no violent leftists. And when violence “happens” at a protest arranged by left-wingers, and when those who commit the violence melt effortlessly into the crowd, and when in a violent protest involving hundreds of people not a single witness comes forward from the left to identify those who committed the violence … “Why, it couldn’t be possibly be one of us who set those fires/smashed those windows/raped those women. We must have been infiltrated by right-wingers who wanted to make us peaceful progressives look bad. Yeah, that’s the ticket.”

By the way, former Democrat Party Chairman and Presidential Candidate Howard Dean says it’s OK to use violence to stop people like Ann Coulter or Ben Shapiro from speaking because “the Constitution doesn’t protect hate speech.” “Hate speech” being defined as facts and opinions that do not conform to left-wing ideology/political correctness.

UC-Berkeley, by the way, canceled an appearance by Ann Coulter claiming that it would be impossible to provide sufficient security (wink-wink). Then, they reversed and said she could come, but only at a time when classes were over and the campus was empty of students after classes had been dismissed for summer recess. Nevertheless, Ann Coulter persisted.

A Lesson in Gun Control

A few years ago, the Socialist Government of Venezuela succeeded in what the Democrat Left has aspired to do in the USA: they outlawed the private ownership of firearms. Of course, this was done to “fight an epidemic of gun violence.” And, of course, “for the children.”

And now the Socialist Government of Venezuela is providing firearms to its supporters to use against opponents of the regime.

“A gun for every militiaman!” Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro said to uniformed militia members outside the presidential palace, Fox News reported on Tuesday. The Bolivarian militias, created by Maduro’s predecessor Hugo Chavez, already number in the hundreds of thousands and are being used to supplement the regime’s armed forces. Maduro is boosting the number of armed supporters in hopes of keeping control over the country from what he labels “imperialist aggression.”

Now, you know, why we fight so hard to keep the Second Amendment alive.
