Left-Wing Fascism Is Winning

April 27, 2017 by V the K

Ann Coulter had to cancel her talk at Berkeley because violent leftists threatened to disrupt it, and the University decided it couldn’t stand up to them.

Now, the city of Portlandia has canceled its annual Rose Parade because violent left-wing groups threatened to disrupt it.

Before anyone offers the weak tea defense, “Well, of course *I* don’t condone this, but both sides do it,” please remind me the last time a left-wing speaker or public event had to be canceled because the alt-right threatened a violent response?

The New York Times, by the way, endorses the view that conservatives have no business trying to present their views in leftist environments like college campuses, and thus implicitly endorses the use of violence to keep such views out.

Don’t condone violence my butt.

The weak, in power, don’t survive & fair weather friends with good intentions reveal themselves as poseurs. Those that invited Coulter left her hanging & then abandoned the whole thing. Just as cowardly as the paid protesters. Shameful. It’ll probably be a cold day in hell before anyone of any stature bother with Berkeley anymore. But we all know what the general demeanor of the GOP is in California. It’s a pity, because they had the backing of muscle to counter protest.

Cowardice is a good word. They knew it would be like this. If they don’t want to fight back fine. We know where they stand. Words don’t matter if you’re afraid to speak.

“Left-wing fascism”…redundancy. (I know why you said it. Just sayin’ back 😉 )

It’s time for the Federal government to treat antifa as a terrorist group.

    But Antifa will be the fertile hiring-source for most Federal civilian employees for at-least the next generation or two. …Why poison the well? See Conquest 2nd and 3rd Law;

Robert Conquest’s Three Laws of Politics:
    1. Everyone is conservative about what he knows best.
    2. Any organization not explicitly right-wing sooner or later becomes left-wing.
    3. The simplest way to explain the behavior of any bureaucratic organization is to assume that it is controlled by a cabal of its enemies.

If the Out Front Theater gets burned down by irate Christians or Jews, will it be the theater company’s fault for insulting their religion? If CUNY has to disinvite Linda Sarsour because of anti-Muslim riots, will the NYT blame Sarsour for her provocative hate speech, and for inserting herself into a volatile situation?

I’m starting to feel like Madame Defarge watching all of this crap.

Never forget what these people are doing- Antifa has dedicated itself to the destruction of Western Civilization, the source of enlightenment and progress in the world. The first ones who fire a shot must be made examples of.

Really sad about Portlandia; it’s a shame that the signature festival to the city nickname-sake had to have one of its premier events canceled due to thugs. But they made the right call, canceling the event rather than start banning groups (which never ends well).

As for Beserkley, the Proud Boys are still on for an appearance this afternoon at the regularly scheduled time. Be interesting to see what transpires. #POYB
It looks like this summer will be the Summer Of Protest, with plenty of participants on both sides.

It’s time for the Federal government to treat antifa as a terrorist group.

One of the best ways to do that, IMHO, is to start using the RICO statutes. In reality, there’s not much difference between the Antifa and the Mafia, except that the latter’s violence is usually turned inward while the former’s is outward (making it more dangerous to society).

Our rulers public officials take that whole “protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” part of their oaths as just some boilerplate crap they say in order to get on with their mission to destroy the US.

Jerry Brown, Janet Incompetano, the various mayors, cops, and college administrators are violating their oaths.

The proper response of, say, the Portland city government should be “we’ll have our damn parade and woe betide any miscreants that attempts to interfere; there are prison cells waiting”. And they need to mean it. But that’s bizzarro world.

    But that’s bizzarro world.

As someone on Twitter noted, it will only get worse, since you just end up empowering the oppressors. These clowns will continue to exercise their power of monkeywrenching. They should have cracked down after the post-election protests; that was their first mistake. Their actions aren’t helping ‘Keep Portland Weird’; they are only helping keep Portland totalitarian.
