Breast-Feeding Is Now Wrongthink

April 28, 2017 by V the K

According to an Academic Study by Insane Nutjob Radicals Settled Science, breastfeeding… which was a celebrated cause like, yesterday… is now problematic because it reinforces gender norms.

I am not making this up.

It’s “ethically inappropriate” for government and medical organizations to describe breastfeeding as “natural” because the term enforces rigid notions about gender roles, claims a new study in Pediatrics.

“Coupling nature with motherhood… can inadvertently support biologically deterministic arguments about the roles of men and women in the family (for example, that women should be the primary caretaker,” the study says.

The study notes that in recent years, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the World Health Organization, and several state departments of health have all promoted breastfeeding over bottle-feeding, using the term “natural.”

“Referencing the ‘natural’ in breastfeeding promotion… may inadvertently endorse a set of values about family life and gender roles, which would be ethically inappropriate,” the study says.

This is what happens when virtue-signaling runs amok. The entire community of divorced middle-aged white women that run the progressive left are trying to outdo each other to show who cares more about the Transgendereds.

Oh, for the days before the internet. There used to be a time when you didn’t have to read something like this. Just because some unknown, ignorant somebody posts something doesn’t mean you have to reinforce them by calling attention to them.

I don’t think anyone is forcing anyone to read anything. The only reason these things are noted is the simple snippet of wisdom, know your enemy. There’s also the stress relief & humor factor to consider. If you can’t laugh at Libs who can’t figure out when to flop their boobs out to feed their brats as opposed to how that’s going to make trannies & dad’s-without-dugs feel about life; then you’re in sad shape.

Personally, I’m just surprised that any children of Libs & Commies survive to puberty & now it’s like dodging traffic whether they survive with their original genitals intact.

Hilarious. A 180 on a key argument for women’s breast feeding rights, because “fashion has changed!”

I’m looking forward to the coming attacks on ultrasound (boy or girl?) as cisnormative, sexist and heterosexist.

They already attack ultrasounds because people who see them sometimes imagine they see a baby shape in the ‘parasitic mass of cells’. Coincidence of course, like see Jesus in a tortilla.

I’m about to put the finishing touches on a new maxim:

“The longer and closer we examine the less than one half of one percent, but more we forget that it is, indeed, less than one half of one percent.”

Because, you know, science and stuff.

Reality is receding in the rear-view mirror.

    Get your stories straight, ladies!
For years hyper-political organizations like the La Leche League bullied politicians and mothers, demanding hospitals remove the ‘free’ sample of formula from the newborn baby goodie basket, making all kinds of offices, stores and airports install ‘lactation rooms’ where only women could enter.

Their propaganda proudly notes breastfeeding is a ‘womanly art’ and doing it till the kid is as old as possible is commendable. Their hard line offended many moms, who came for help but got a dose of idealogy. Now, in a classic cat-fight, the there-is-no-such-thing-as-gender crowd realizes this is something only a biological woman can do, and that’s not the message of the day so let’s come up with a phone article and send starry-eyed spokeswomen on TV to tell everyone how bad breastfeeding is.

Gee, how the heck did the human race survive if woman didn’t breastfeed. You don’t see a male fox feeding a pup these days, do you? This absurd attempt to cook up ‘studys’ to answer questions nobody is asking will just annoy more woman, who are supposedly telling us all the time that they want to make their own decisions about their bodies. Bah!

Tucker Carlson nicely chewed up and spat out a bug-eyed feminist zealot making this case that breast- feeding is not a natural function.

When it was put to her that she was denying the objectively-discernible physical reality that only women can give birth, lactate and breast feed babes – in the service of a political agenda that all men and women are exactly the same – she countered by arguing that breast feeding was unnatural , per se, because some women have difficulty providing milk and/or enough milk and/or have to be instructed in the finer points by midwives.

Ergo: breast feeding is not a natural process.

Isn’t this like arguing that since a small percentage of people are born barren then giving birth is not a natural process; or because some unfortunate people are malnourished or starve, then eating and digestion are not natural processes?

In Australia we call people such as this woman “rat bags”. Not because they are astoundingly wrong but because they refuse to even consider the possibility that they may be wrong.
