Kamala Harris’s Neat Trick

June 15, 2017 by V the K

Senator Kamala Harris, D-California (the answer to question, could California elect someone even more obnoxious than Barbara “Ma’am” Boxer to the US Senate) has quickly developed a habit. She treats colleagues with extreme disrespect, interrupts witnesses before they can answer, and showboats constantly for her violent, stupid left-wing base.

And when called on it, she plays the “Oh, no, I’m just a poor woman victimized by these sexist mysogynist men” card.

Neat trick. I wonder if it will play well outside the Womyn’s Studies Faculty Lounge.

She has a lifetime seat if she wants it. Her behavior is seen as a feature by her constituents. She will eventually play the race card.

They sure have a presidential hopeful there! /sarc/

Except, in order to be a Dem queen ready for a special donkey crown, you need to be someone that no one interrupts. Someone that doesn’t need to be interrupted because someone else needs to answer a question that was asked. Someone that is allowed to bulldoze over someone after asking a question, thereby giving the question the aspect of an accusation instead of a question. Someone is no one. Someone missed her big moment.

Anyone can play the gender card & get applause from one’s own entourage & voters. Someone will need to visit Maxine’s lady for an approved straightening & shampoo set before taking lessons in public speaking. Someone isn’t ready for prime time.

My prediction is that Trump will run against Biden or Sanders in 2020 and win. Harris won’t run until 2024.

My prediction : Trump doesn’t run again. Pence will run. He will beat (twice) any pokeman card candidate the progressives put on the ballot. 12 years of an R in the WH will reduce progressives to an even greater pile of mental mush.

I don’t see Sanders ever winning. All it takes to cripple him is a well-produced slideshow of the horrors that communists have inflicted across the world: Russia… Ukraine… central Asia… China… Cambodia… Vietnam… Korea… Cuba… Venezuela…

And then a voice saying, “This is the ideology Bernie Sanders supports. The decision is clear.”

Part of the reason Trump won was because he was charismatic and could excite voters and the party base. Obama, B. Clinton, and Reagan all had elements of that which led to their victories. They all had a spark in their personality that was attractive to voters. The only recent elections where we didn’t have any of that: 1988, 2000.

Bush I was still able to get elected by riding off the back of a successful eight years of Republican administration. Technically, Gore should have been able to do the same (even though he wasn’t any more or less exciting than Bush II), but he ran a campaign that distanced himself a bit from Clinton because of the Monica Lewinsky scandal, rather than tie himself to the Clinton that still got “credit” for the strong economy.

Unless the U.S. economy drastically improves, Pence isn’t going to have anything to ride off of from Trump to get him into the presidency, even if Trump sails through his first term. If Trump doesn’t run in 2020 and the Dems put fourth an “exciting” candidate like Harris, then I’m not so sure about the 12 years of a Repub admin. I can only envision it if Trump runs again. And, if he can avoid being impeached and the economy doesn’t go south, he’ll have the incumbent advantage, making him a no-brainer for 2020.

Harris, exciting? Oh my Allah. Progressives set an extremely low bar for POTUS candidates. Seems all it takes is a vagina and non-white skin.

Isn’t it interesting that while progressives are calling for conservatives to be more civil, they are praising the extremely uncivil performance of Harris during the recent hearings. Her contempt for those being questioned was undeniable. This does fit with progressive contempt for anything (or anyone) they don’t agree with.

    She is a nothing burger.

Except you can’t untie yourself from your president if you were VP. Trump has already indicated he’s running for a 2nd term & there’s no problem in the White House except leaks. Predictions already are that Trump will win a 2nd term because he still has ALL of his base & he’s been keeping his promises when possible one by one. He’s even added to his base because a Trump presidency is no longer an unknown & Trump was already a known quantity.

I don’t see a black president winning anywhere, anytime soon. Obama saw to that. Obama saw huge losses to the Democrats & finally, a rebuke to his presidency & the loss of the White House. The Progressives (Commies renamed) weren’t happy with someone who was already a radical. The Liberals initially ALL self-righteously said Obama was on probation & “given the keys to the White House” with stipulations. That was 2009. Just because the Dem Media cleaned his body with their filthy tongues, brown nosing his every move, doesn’t mean he was a success or without scandal. (We counted & documented every single scandal & misstep.)

Harris isn’t a big deal. All that’s being heard is desperation by the Left to have some sort of win. She’s not accomplished & she’s obviously not capable of holding her own. What is known about her is that all you have to say to shut her up is, Shut the F Up, & she’s too confused at the nerve of people interrupting her precious self to even continue. There is no actual preliminary excitement for her. Again, when you listen & get your perspective from the Dem Media, you’re not tuning into reality. The tables have not been turned on Trump, Congress is just doing its periodic “investigations/hearing” thing, that they also did with previous presidents. Trump’s not in trouble & the loudest thing in the country is the Dem Media. Except for they’re not the only game in town & weren’t powerful enough to get their precious Holy Cow Hillary elected.

I prefer reality. It’s what got us through Obama’s nightmarish tenure. All we had was Congress & that was next to nothing, in reality. All they managed to do was pass multiple obamacare repeal bills as “proof” that they were our champions. No Congress is a champion or a power for anyone. They were next to useless. A Senator Slimy Schumer looking over his nose being self-righteous accounts for zero effect & Pelosi is in the middle of daily senior moments.

The reality is, Trump isn’t going anywhere. Hype that he’s being targeted, in trouble, isolated, troubled, assailed, besieged, etc. is just not reality. That’s Democrats trying to feel good about non-existent chances at some sort of win.

I don’t see VP Pence in 2020, nor 2024. Sober, competent but he has no charisma. He’s soooo bland, there’s just no “there” there.

He a good staffer, but not a leader.

My prediction is that Trump will run against Biden or Sanders in 2020 and win.

I don’t see Sanders ever winning.

All y’all who think Bernie could still be a thing in 2020 need to remember that on Inauguration Day 2021 he will be 79 years, 4 months, 1 week, 5 days old. That’s old, for a US President. In fact, he would be the oldest president ever elected. Assuming he can keep his mental faculties up to that point and not give the appearance of someone more ready for a nursing home than the White House, his age will definitely be used against him should he run, and not in a positive way. He also doesn’t have the distinguished look that some men have well into their advanced years (eg, Sean Connery). If he looks like a batty rambling professor today, think what he might look like 3.5 years from now.

[..] a quick video clip of Sanders’ 3 houses will turn off a lot of freeloading progressives.

I agree with V, it will do nothing to dissuade those who salivate at the possibility of suckling on a free teat, graciously provided by someone else through government force. But…it will have an effect on the independents whom every candidate needs to win an election. Three homes, a hefty bank account and a sweet ride that puts Liz Warren’s former professormobile to shame doesn’t play well when you’re advocating a share-the-wealth for everyone else. Bernie’s days as a major playa in the candidate pool are over and I think he knows it. He’s content with the recently found payoff from his presidential run and to be the elder town caller who constantly warns the citizenry of social and economic injustice and is happy to write a book or two (for a modest fee) to keep telling about it. He will be beloved by those who lament about what could have been (“Bernie woulda won!”) and can still get traction for his ideas, which are sure to work this time around. (Venezuela? Cuba? Pfft…let’s be Sweden first.)

Isn’t it strange how a state with a large population like California can elect so many morons while small states like Iowa and Oklahoma, once in a while, send some really smart people to D.C.?
