The article has apparently been memory-holed, but less than a week ago, the left-wing Huffington Post called for the trial and execution of Donald Trump and a number of other Republicans.
The Huffington Post pulled a piece calling for the “execution” of President Donald Trump published Saturday by contributor Jason Fuller.
Fuller’s piece contained rhetoric and imagery that seems tasteless, particularly after Wednesday’s events. Fuller boldly declares in the title that “Trump must be prosecuted — if convicted in a court of law — executed.” Fuller doesn’t stop there, however, as he insists that “impeachment isn’t enough” to “drain the swamp,” and to do so means doling out the “ultimate punishment [execution]” in order to fully restore the moral compass of the U.S.
Fuller’s “ultimate punishment” is not only reserved for the president, but also for “everyone assisting in his agenda,” including Republican Reps. Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan and White House strategist Steve Bannon. Fuller claims that “all must face justice” by being tried, convicted and ultimately executed for treason.
Maybe he will just claim it was “art” or a joke that was too funny for conservatives to get. Those are the usual excuses.
BTW, according to the New York Times, the Attempted Mass Murder of Republicans in Alexandria was Sarah Palin’s fault, or something like that. You know, like the Orlando Pulse Massacre was Mike Pence’s fault. It’s amazing how Republicans somehow have gotten extremely good at getting Democrats to murder people.
I’m glad that the often-execrable Huffington Post still bears Arianna Huffington’s name.
She joined a cult; married a rich, conservative-ish-but-kooky gay cult member for his money; got a huge settlement from him; pushed herself relentlessly; switched to liberalism because it offered better media attention; and set in motion a site that was once semi-interesting in its Greg Gutfeld / Andrew Breitbart days, but that has since gone from bad to worse. She deserves to have her name attached to something so awful.
From what I’ve seen, the Left does not see nor will it admit there is a problem. It’s all, “you guys do it, too”.
For some unfathomable reason, the Media seems to think we won’t cut the tail off the dog.
All this ceased to be a joke by the end of January 2017.
#2, yeah, I’ve dealt with that argument as well. I usually challenge them to an equivalency duel. I put up five examples within the last six months of violence on the left in the country, and challenge them to come up with five equivalent actions on the right. Heck, I even give them the last eight years.
Invariably, they bring up one or two, and the rest are nowhere near equivalent.
Note to ILoveCapitalism: I think there’s a typo in your post. Shouldn’t that read “often-excrementable”?
5. Craig Smith
The “smarter” ones don’t do it that way. They use the BS Ted Nugent argument, et al. It’s because they can’t find a whole lot of real violence.
They’ll realize the difference soon enough. Or not.
MP – hehe, I imagine the 2 words are related.
Does this idiot believe that just because he puts pen to paper and writes something, it makes it true?
Gay conservatives???
Oh darlings, that’s just too much! Pardon me while I laugh hysterically in your direction.
Let’s not execute Dear Donnie too soon though.. the LAST thing I need is him moving into MY neighborhood!
