And That’s How You Get Senator Kid Rock

July 18, 2017 by V the K

We are in a culture war. The left has been deploying full arsenal… lies, deceit, attacks, and more recently actual violence… while the right has played nice. Evan Sayet explains why nice ain’t cutting it any more.

We Right-thinking people have tried dignity. There could not have been a man of more quiet dignity than George W. Bush as he suffered the outrageous lies and politically motivated hatreds that undermined his presidency. We tried statesmanship. Could there be another human being on this earth who so desperately prized “collegiality” as John McCain? We tried propriety – has there been a nicer human being ever than Mitt Romney? And the results were always the same.

So, to my friends on the Left – and the #NeverTrumpers as well — do I wish we lived in a time when our president could be “collegial” and “dignified” and “proper”? Of course I do. These aren’t those times. This is war. And it’s a war that the Left has been fighting without opposition for the past 50 years.
So, say anything you want about this president – I get it, he can be vulgar, he can be crude, he can be undignified at times. I don’t care. I can’t spare this man. He fights.

It’s like I have been saying, before you attack Donald Trump and the “alt-right,” consider what the GOP Establishment and the old right have accomplished in the last 20 years. They got us into wars they never intended to win and spent money they never intended to pay back. Meanwhile, the radical left took over the media, the schools, the bureaucracy and the courts. It doesn’t matter whether the Republicans were collaborating with the radical left or merely wimping out to them; the result was the same.

Our only option to preserve liberty is to fight back. It is sad that it has come to this.

The left is putting up K. Harris as their great hope for 2020. Obama in drag. They have good reason to be scared. That match up will not turn out well for progressives.

I think many of us have become “conservative” when we ourselves weren’t looking. That’s a good thing. It’s one thing to feel pride of party (not me), defend it, activate for it & it’s another to stand back & look at what everything really was, in reality. A slow decline, coordinated by the Democrats with help from left-leaning Republicans & the Establishment GOP.

Freedom isn’t easy & requires constant battle. I don’t think it’s sad that it’s come to this. I’m glad people who are actually Americans are waking up to the reality. Not everyone has to fight. Those that are geared for battle need to fight. Others can do their bit, be supportive, carry water, break codes & be spotters.

Now that Stephen Colbert has made the word ‘cockholster’ a legitimate term of political discourse, may we refer to Ms. Harris as “Willie Brown’s cockholster?”

V the K — yes, yes we can, and yes we should. Outrage should be responded to with that very point — where was the concern when Colbert said what he did?

TAD — basically, the Left’s violence is Free Speech, and to that same Left, the Right’s Free Speech is violence. Amazing how that works in their so-called minds, isn’t it?

Kamala Harris?! That’s who they think is going to win for them in 2020? Ahahahaha!

If the Left really thinks continuing to cater to the SJW movement is their ticket back into the White House, they are in for a rude awakening.

Oh geez. Conservatives control all levels of government and the majority of state governments. Who are you fighting against?

    Here’s a radical idea:
Instead of playing the false victim card why not try governing!

    “Who are you fighting against?”

The MSM, Rino’s, #NeverTrumpers (GOP and Democrats), the Deep State. anti-gunners, anti Free Speechers.

Oh geez, hasn’t lil letter mike been paying attention? Oh wait, Russia, Russia, Russia.

Doesn’t this remind you of the way Progressives treated Mrs. Palin? File hundreds of bogus law suits against her and her husband so that her only option is to resign. Then attack her for resigning.

lil letter mike and his ilk remind me of my great nieces and nephews (all under 8).

TnnsNE1 – Mike is a dimwit who can’t tell the difference between Republicans and conservatives, but consider his perspective. He is a Democrat Leftist, and the entire Democrat Party is a leftist party. There are no conservative Democrats and there are very, very, very few moderate Democrats. The Republicans, on the other hand, are mostly mushy moderates.

Conservatives don’t actually control anything. The country would be in a much better place if they did.

As to mike, for once he has a point. Republicans do seem to be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome and unable or unwilling to do what needs to be done. Not all, but enough to be missing the opportunity of a lifetime. Stop cowtowing and “get ‘er done!”. If Ryan and McConnell can’t deliver then get somebody who will. Sessions is turning out to be a big disappointment too. He seems more interested in asset forfeiture and reviving a failed drug war than going after the corruption in the swamp. I know it’s easy to be a critic but damn, don’t make it so easy, GOP!

#11, most members of the Republican House and Senate are really liberals. They are not conservatives. As such, they need to be liked by CNN. MSNBC and the other news outlets. This clouds their judgement.

It really is too bad. Of course, the risk for them is conservatives will just stop supporting them and their seats will go to Dems.

Case in point, Ms. Collins in Maine. The 2nd District which has been keeping her in office is simply fed up with her. So much so, she knows she might not get re-elected to the Senate, so she is considered a front runner for Governor. If that happens, most likely, the voters in Maine will elect a real liberal to the Senate, simply because Ms. Collins has been such a disappointment.

And then there’s Lisa Murkowski, a corrupt liberal DIABLO who represents everything that’s wrong in DC. She inherited her seat from her corrupt father and treats it as a means to funnel money back to the family business in Alaska.

If you look at the American Conservative Union (ACU) scores for Congress, it verifies that most Republicans fall in the middle range, 40’s to 70’s.

You are, on the other hand, hard pressed to find a Democrat with a score above single digits.

    http://acuratings.conservative.org/acu-federal-legislative-ratings/?year1=2016&chamber=11&state1=0&sortable=1

It’s illustrative of how extreme the Democrat Party has become.

You mean BLM is a conservative group?

I can list many instances of progressive extremist groups “burning down the house”. Now, lets see lil letter mike post a few conservative groups “burning down the house”.

lil letter mike would describe Obama and H. Clinton as centrists.

There’s nothing radical about being a conservative, wanting to keep the best in society & opposing radical change. Conservatism is the opposite of radicalism & to say differently is a lie & just another pathetic false narrative of the Left. The Constitution is the basis of this country from Left to Right. Anyone that calls a conservative a radical is not an American & is an enemy of the people. Fact.

To the left, anyone who believes that the USA should be governed by its Constitution is dangerously radical. They preferred it when Obama was ruling by pen and phone.

This posting makes a very important point that one of the greatest presidents acknowledged and lived by.

Teddy Roosevelt said: “never be too proud to fight”.

That is very true and I personally live by TR’s rule.

Of course, dignity and reason are to be preferred and modeled wherever possible by civilised people, for a host of reasons, but life has taught me that when you walk away from a bully because to get down and dirty in the mud with them would be beneath your dignity the bully learns nothing but is only encouraged by his cheap victory.

The bully doesn’t look at his victim’s back and see a man or woman with dignity. No. The bully sees cowardice and feels vindicated and strong.

Moral people generally and Conservatives in particular need to start taking the fight to the cultural marxist bullies.
    Good posting.
