Two of these options would be useless at best and fatal at worst. Is that the point they were trying to get across?

News the Democrat Media Complex Is Not Interested in Covering

Gay prostitute dies of meth overdose at home of Democrat Activist/ Donor.

A 26-year-old man was found dead at the home of a well-known Democratic party donor late last month of a drug overdose.
The incident occurred on July 27 around 7.22pm at the West Hollywood home of Ed Buck, a high-profile political activist and wealthy contributor to the California and Los Angeles County Democratic Party.

Another politicized, left-wing shooter

Coverage of this story is mostly on local news websites. And even that coverage tries to downplay the politics; while AP’s account is antiseptically vague.

In West Goshen, PA, a person called Clayton P. Carter III shot his neighbor last night – on the neighbor’s own property (the two each stood near the shared property line).

Most of the coverage will say that the two had an unspecified “long-running dispute” or that Carter had disputes going with several neighbors, was “quarrelsome”, “argumentative”, and tended to pull a gun during his altercations. And little more.

But some coverage admits that the victim, George Brooks Jennings, is a local Republican committeeman. And will just barely admit that Carter’s “front yard was crowded with…hand lettered anti-Trump signs.”

(UPDATE: The same article says “Carter shot Jennings once in the head, knocking him to the ground. Carter then allegedly stood over Jennings’ body and shot him once more in the head,” suggesting aggression.)

I’ll leave you to imagine how different the coverage would be, if the politics were reversed. Which it normally wouldn’t be, as the great majority of political violence in America comes from the Left. Hat tip, Cernovich Media.

While we’re at it – Steve Scalise update: At the end of July, Rep. Scalise was released from the hospital for “intensive inpatient rehabilitation”.

Your Recommended Daily Allowance of Irony

Progressive Leftists are overjoyed that a Google employee was fired because he exercised his free speech regarding an important contemporary social issue.

Progressive Leftists are outraged that a football player cannot get hired because he exercised his free speech regarding an important contemporary social issue.

Bonus irony: Those same progressive leftists have not read the Google memo, and hate football except as a means to promote a social justice agenda.

Google will get worse, before it gets better

There’s a lot in the news about North Korea, but I haven’t the heart to write about that, it’s too depressing. The U.S. should have taken care of that problem 20 years ago.

So, back on Google. First, Stefan Molyneux interviews James Damore. He’s a bit snow-flakey. Molyneux almost has to hold his hand. Seriously, how could the SJWs feel so threatened?

Second, by now you’ve seen Breitbart’s Rebels of Google interviews with dissenters to Google’s left-wing, Social Justice Warrior culture. Of course you have to take it with a grain of salt; these are disgruntled former employees. Nonetheless, many details ring true to those who have worked in Silicon Valley. Put it this way, statements of Google execs and SJWs will tell us one side of the story; Rebels of Google gives us the other.

I’m not sure what goes on at Google exactly, but it sounds like they have a culture of SJW discussions (probably on Google Plus group chat and/or email) that employees can’t escape. I picture an employee signing on to discuss a work-related problem, for example, and then being spammed with HR “diversity” announcements, or political sniping injected by the SJWs into every discussion “just because”.

Anyway, here are the interview bits that jumped out at me: (more…)
