When lefties are in denial

In response to President Trump’s comments yesterday, Sen. Kaine (D – Hillary) said this:

Charlottesville violence was fueled by one side: white supremacists spreading racism, intolerance & intimidation. Those are the facts.

No, Senator. Your son, Linwood, was arrested and in jail for spreading violence, intolerance and intimidation on behalf of the Left. Then charged with multiple misdemeanors. Those are the facts.

By the way – search “creepy tim kaine” sometime, and view the Images tab. It’s a creepy hoot.

UPDATE – When Marco Rubio condones violence:

The organizers of events which inspired & led to #charlottesvilleterroristattack are 100% to blame for a number of reasons… When entire movement built on anger & hatred towards people different than you, it justifies & ultimately leads to violence against them.

Rubio loves to go on about his love of America and how our founding principles are important to him; but, evidently, the concept of Free Speech escapes him.

Rubio just said that, if you don’t like somebody’s speech or beliefs or marching permit, you’re “justified” (his concept) in attacking them violently. U.S. criminal law would beg to differ with Senator Rubio.

UPDATE – When McCain joins him:

There’s no moral equivalency between racists & Americans standing up to defy hate& bigotry. The President of the United States should say so

Let’s be clear:

  • There is definite moral equivalence between U.S. neo-Nazis and Antifa.
  • There is definite moral equivalence between the various #WhiteLivesMatter types and #BlackLivesMatter.
  • Antifa has been committing crimes of violence against human beings (not just property) for months or years, and #BlackLivesMatter has spread bigotry and incited riots and cop-killings.

If McCain is in denial about that, he does not belong in the Senate.

  1. kaine was half right, the violence was fueled by one side, the democrat side, antifa. again was there any violence in Charlottesville before antifa showed up?

  2. I always knew Rubio was a snake. Glad that he proved it. Aren’t y’all glad he didn’t get the nomination now?

  3. “Glad that he proved it. Aren’t y’all glad he didn’t get the nomination now?”

Thankfully, this will almost guarantee he will never get the nomination.

  4. Yup. When the hysteria and pile-on mentality have passed…..Rubio will have to disavow his remark.

  5. Sen. McCain no longer belongs in the Senate, but he’s in denial about that. [/re-edited for moral clarity]

  6. I knew the country narrowly dodged a bullet in November, but I didn’t fully realize how bad Kaine was until later.

After the terrorist attack at OSU, he tweeted that he was saddened by the “gun violence.” It turned out that the terrorist used a truck and a knife, not a gun. The only “gun violence” was when a heroic cop stopped the rampage by shooting the terrorist. There may have been some incomplete and inaccurate reports giving a wrong impression (“shots fired,” “victims killed or injured”), but that is all the more reason why Kaine should have waited for all of “the facts” before posting his comment.

And now, he claims that all of the violence was on the Right when the facts appear to be that the “Unite the Right” crowd were staging a peaceful and legal demonstration until the Antifa goons arrived and picked a fight.

  7. When are lefties NOT in denial?

  8. I expect nonsense for morons like Tim Kaine and John McCain. But Rubio and Romney – can they be this stupid? I guess so.

They still do not accept that they’re a big part of DJT’s ascendance.

If they think alt-left violence is acceptable for “racism”, what’s to keep the alt-left from deciding that the Parade of Roses is unacceptable?

  9. Gang of Eight Little Marco needs to pick up a book. The white supremacist people aren’t a movement. They’re a dying legacy of the Old South. It’s a Mentality.

& he represents a Southern State? These various GOP whiners who don’t bow to the Tea Party Movt/Donald Trump voter base that brought a president into power; but, who coddle & warble about ridiculous Confederate monuments that were a long dead issue decades & decades ago, jump on the Democrat race wagon with their race hysteria – are going to end up with mud on their faces. Again. But you know what? They don’t care. The discussion is about nothing which is means the discussion isn’t about Mitch’s inability to be a strong Senator. He’s a nothing burger, Rubio is a bitter little schmutz. The only thing substantial about him are the heels on his shoes.
