Remember when Mitt Romney was an out-of-touch rich guy who gave women cancer, kept women in binders, tortured his dog, wanted to give gay teenagers bad haircuts, and was going to outlaw contraception and tampons as part of the ‘War on Women?’

Now that he is a certified Republican loser, Democrats seem to have changed their tune.

At @LATimesEvents Summit @NancyPelosi says, “Wouldn’t it be nice if @MittRomney was President today?!” Huge applause.

Yeah, right.

Speaking of Republican losers, in 2008, Obama attacked John McCain as a bitter old man who would “sow hatred and division“, who wanted to take social security away from senior citizens, and who was not mentally up to the job of president. But then McCain used his vote to save Obamacare, and then gave a speech attacking Trump and saying that (essentially) American leadership meant starting a lot of foreign wars and he was in favor of that. Now, they love him and think he’s a great statesman and “patriot.”

Update: Hey, even Chimpy McBushitler has found redemption in the eyes of the left… because he gave a speech attacking the current Republican president. As runningrn said.

The man who refused to defend himself while he was continuously attacked while in office and heard Obama criticize and blame him (while sitting in the audience even!) at every turn while destroying America, never said a peep. And then today, he unloaded on conservatives who voted for Trump and our President (without specifically naming anyone, but it was patently and painfully obvious). WTF!

Bush “unloaded” on the very people who defended him the eight years the left was comparing him to Hitler.

  1. Perfect examples of Progressive Moral Relativism.

And the good news is : Chelsea Handler is going to be a bigger part of the Progressive Movement for the 2018 election cycle. Things are looking up for the GOP!

  2. As brutal and hopeless as the prior eight years were, I can’t shake the nagging sensation that we all dodged yet another fatal bullet when Mr. Romney lost in ’12. I’m not even sure if he would have run an actual campaign again HRC last year, or simply abdicated.

  3. Their treatment of McCain and Romney is why they got Trump. HE actually fought back.

  4. CH, they were stunned when an “R” fought back. They still are stunned.

  5. And just today, with the horrendous Trump/deplorable Trump voters bashing speech he gave, GWB has just been transformed from Chimpy McHaliburton Blood for Oil Bushitler into a loveable, patriotic, great former President with real gravitas. I’m still shaking my head over that. WTF!

  6. @2 – I think we also dodged a bullet when McCain lost. At least with BHO, we had some token resistance from the DC GOP. If McCain had won, we’d be at war everywhere and the borders would be wide open.

  7. Though Tumor McCain is reprehensible he’s still a step up from Obama. The problem with McCain is that he’s really, really not the sharpest stick in the fence. Not kidding. Now that he’s been replaced by the alternate personality growing in his head, you’re seeing a fairly cogent but vindictive entity acting in his stead. Sad.

If Romney was president now that would have meant that Obama would have lost reelection. Pelosi’s secret desire revealed? I think so.

  9. When I heard McCain I thought, S.P.Q.U.S? When I Bush’s remarks I thought, New World Order. I never understood what daddy Bush meant by that, but now I know.

  10. I lost hope for a real New World Order after Bush-senior left Saddam controlling Iraq in Feb-March 1991. I supported Bush-junior’s initial attack on Saddam up to the self-stumbles ineptly-occupying Baghdad, disbanding the Iraq Army and the rush to elections. By then, Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld poorly-executed in Afghanistan and let OBL escape at Tora-Bora.

Saddam’s and OBL’s heads should have been delivered to Congress packed in the traditional casks of salt.

  12. What interests me more is why President Bush unloaded on President DT, when he ignored other attacks on him by Obama for example. It could be because President Bush has sold himself to the Clinton’s complex? Wants redemption in the eyes of the left? Then again, maybe both he and President Obama offloaded because

Robert Shapiro, Professor of Government at Columbia University said both Mr Obama and Mr Bush had little affection for the President for reasons of personal enmity. “But I think both think Donald Trump is an affront to the American presidency and American institutions”.

  13. Bush and Obama criticize the toxic politics environment they created. Ain’t it rich?

I guess neither of them looks in the rear view mirror to see a Middle East on fire, the $20T national debt, the hollowed out and addicted working class whose jobs were sold to Wall Street, the endless and pointless wars, North Korea, BHO’s race intifada, explosive growth of the deep state, Bush’s ceding of our sovereignty to our less-than-friendly neighbor to the south – and on and on and on.

You may not need to be a psychopath to be in politics – but it helps.

Dear BHO and GWB: bugger off.
