Protest Privilege

Starbucks is spending its mandatory XX number of days in the Hate Box. This means gigantic leftist jerkwads get to go to Starbucks and harass minimum wage employees. Then, they’ll look for some TV cameras to complain how victimized and oppressed they are.

  1. Starbucks supports and promotes the racial grievance industry. This is a dust-up between the left’s uninformed civilians. Over-police a situation with blacklivesmatter Screamers and there will be Financial consequences come election season. Anyone that doesn’t think that the white guilt idiots sitting in Starbucks are going to look more favorably upon blacklivesmatter tribal whiners, is deluding themselves.

This is the equivalent of trashing one’s own neighborhood. Sad.

  2. I won’t be going to Starbucks anymore. I’ll stick to Dunkins. Yes, that guy should’ve studied STEM or learn a trade.

  3. The article I read, linked to from the bing/msn homepage, said that the company had already removed the manager, that the CEO promised that all managers would now have to go through “unconscious bias” training, and that the store is currently closed. So, what are they protesting? They already made it so that the people who work there can’t get their income right now. What else do they want? My biggest question is this: has anyone actually bothered to talk to the manager and determine from the manager exactly why she called the cops? Are we saying that for sure, if the two men were not black, she wouldn’t have called law enforcement? I don’t know the woman or her character…but I guess that doesn’t matter anymore. White is evil and oppression, no matter what

  5. the two guys got arrested because they refused to leave after the police told them three times to leave. I think the store manager was black. starsbucks embraces the leftwing ideology, that makes you easy people to bully. the ceo is a perfect example of that. he never even bother to hear his employees side of the story before he was on his knees apologizing.

  6. Of course they picked Starbucks, low hanging fruit. Next they’ll have to remove the bucks part of the name you know, ’cause racism and maybe the Star too, because nobody is better than anyone else (there are no stars just participants). Maybe “Equality” coffee and you have to spin a wheel to choose what random flavor you get because there can be no discrimination there.

  7. A few hours in jail, hefty a settlement for a nuance suit. Not a bad day’s “work”.

  8. This type of cuck marketing seems to bring their stock prices up over the past few years…

  9. “Starbucks will close 8,000 stores for an afternoon of racial-bias education”

  10. The ENTIRE City of Philadelphia government has ground to a halt over this; the Mayor, the Soros-funded District Attorney, the usual race-hustler City Council members, and all the media outlets. …Apparently they have nothing-better to do with their taxpayer-funded time.

At any moment I expect the soft-leftist Governor, the usual Beltway swamp-creatures and the various local political candidates of both parties to ooze-out of the storm-sewer inlet nearest to the cameras.

….But since it’s an “big city” Starbucks and I’m a rural tea drinker, I’ll just point, chortle and giggle at both sides.

  11. @2: I hope “Zack” in the pic spends a few minutes looking at Mike Rowe videos on YouTube and finds a trade.

No idea what went down at this Starbucks but, 99/10, there’s more to the story.

I can’t describe the level of disgust I have for the racial grievance mongers these days – publicity seeking morons.

This isn’t terribly uncommon in the, uh, more vibrant areas of KC:

This young lady was taking classes to train as a physical therapist and worked at UPS (3am shift) to help pay her way and was *shot dead* while asleep in her bed by someone in the permanently aggrieved community.

There will be a vigil and all that but then back to business as usual – shooting people for the hell of it.

  12. Words like the men are “traumatized.” Gotta love that language. Why didn’t these two ya-hoo’s just by a bloody drink or something for shit sakes! I don’t know about any of you common sense folks out in never-land but don’t you feel guilty freeloading when you walk in and you pass that little sign that says “washrooms are for customers only.” That kinda applies to the wifi doncha think?
Why did that man say that he was afraid now that if he was having “coffee” with his fiance he migaht experience what these poor fellows did? What? Wait! How did he come to this….I smell a great big flipping rats nest full of easy money…I do enjoy watching “them” eat their own. They all deserve each other.

  14. How quickly the Left turns on one of their own bastions.

Shame. Shame. Shame. Shame. Shame. Shame.

  15. This is why I prefer tea and why I’m glad I discovered Yerba Mate.

Starbucks is cr@p in a cardboard cup. Even where I live there are still better options for locally-owned coffee houses.
