Hillary: “They Were Never Going to Let Me Be President”

While not the most enthusiastic Trump fan, not a day goes by when I’m not grateful this horrid woman isn’t president.

“I knew it. I knew this would happen to me,” Clinton reportedly said, according to excerpts from a new book published in The Daily Beast. “They were never going to let me be president.”

It’s always someone else’s fault, isn’t it, Hilly?

I guess by “They,” she thinks she means the “Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy.” HRC always had a boundless sense of entitlement and an equally massive sense of paranoia. But the real “they” are just people fed up by being told what to do by people like her; people who think they know what’s best for everyone and then use Government to force their choices on others while exempting themselves from the law.

Oh, and about that “basketful of deplorables” label she slapped on Trump supporters, turned out that was something she focus-tested with the people who really matter.

“The Deplorables always got a laugh, over living-room chats in the Hamptons, at dinner parties under the stars on Martha’s Vineyard, over passed hors d’oeuvres in Beverly Hills, and during sunset cocktails in Silicon Valley.”

  1. Wow. So thankful that I’m a deplorable. My life is far more fun!

  2. Well, maybe in the Hamptons… But Martha’s Vineyard, Beverly Hills and Silicon Valley are all bastions of the monied and tech Left; and they never warmed to her either. As the shrill St. Hillarybeast devolved during the campaign into sozzled Felonia von Pantsuit, her support eroded. She never had the support of Middle America and thr Fly-over States, just isolated bastions of fascist Academia and ex-rust belt Trade Unionism spread throughout the Clinton Archipelago.

  3. Hillary still doesn’t seem to grasp that the candidates were supposed to be running for President of the United States. The entire country, not just the gated communities on the coasts.

  4. While not the most enthusiastic Trump fan, not a day goes by when I’m not grateful this horrid woman isn’t president.

Yeah, me too. POTUS 45 could start WWIII (“And you just know he will!” {screech}) and I will still be grateful to him for saving the country from this “word that rhymes with ‘rich'” [to use an old Barbara P. Bush phrase—RIP].

I was thinking a day or two ago when she came out with yet another zinger that made her not at all look bitter, clingy, and obsessed that what she really needs to do is to go to a Third World country for a year and do her own personal Peace Corps schtick and help others who are truly worse off and perhaps gain a bit of perspective. But no, she’s gotta come out with some new whine every week. And then she and her supporters accuse everyone else of being ‘obsessed’ with her…

Brings to mind the old line “We can’t miss you if you never leave.”

  5. […] just isolated bastions of fascist Academia and ex-rust belt Trade Unionism […]

And the islands that comprise the resort areas of the country. The only reason my state wasn’t a complete block of red was because of the county that contains the fly-in-fly-out ski resort, along with the nouveau retirees who build their domiciles there and change their addresses to take advantage of the lack of state income tax—and then vote for the Democrats who want to vacuum out their income in the form of taxes. Talk about voting against your own self-interest…

  6. Isn’t she under criminal investigation? Maybe she’s just trying to lay the groundwork for an Insanity plea.

  7. It’s all about the agenda it’s not about the personage, when it really boils down to it. I’m not much for nicknames or banners, preferring to hand them out instead. The fact is, there was no other GOP idiot that could have won against corrupt fascist Hillary. Anyone that thinks that Cruz or one of the other showboats would be far along in their own former and tepid agendas is kidding themselves, a year-and-a-half into a presidency. As far as the president’s tornado-like style, It’s Not Unusual for gentlemen and ladies like him. Captains of industry.

History explicitly tells us that it does indeed take a while to isolate, and then get rid of the old Queen or the mother of a fallen monarch. Hillary will get hers, in due course and it won’t be exile to some Monastery on a remote island.

    The hag has been marked.

  8. With Obama’s election I figured, “ehh, …we can survive this.” But Hillary, Al Gore and Michael Dukakis were existential threats to the survival of the Republic. The Democrats can’t do better in growing and putting-forth candidates?

Then again, …we have to answer-for McCain, Dole and Romney. **shudder**

  9. All this is ironic. The Clinton campaign colluded with the DNC and the MSM media (see Podesta e-mails) to make Trump the nominee because Mrs. Clinton saw him as the weakest of the R’s, the one she could beat easily. Mrs. Clinton’s arrogance blinded her to the need to focus on 3 states. Mr. Clinton (not a great man but he is an astute politician) advised her to focus on those 3 states. She ignored him and attempted to go for a landslide popular vote. If Progressives want to place blame for Trump in the White House, that blame belongs at the swollen feet of Mrs. Clinton.

The rest is white noise. Move on.

  10. Why did Hillary even bother to run when she had such contempt for the American people?

  11. Cardinal rule in politics: Never Insult the Voters!!!

If you’re a Democrat, never insult your own voters.

If you’re a Republican, never insult your voters… in public.

  12. who is THEY? is Hillary trying to tell us there are people that control the out come of our election?

  13. The word “deplorable” cost her the election. She basically wrote off half the country as bigoted hicks and that those who actually are bigoted hicks are somehow representative of the rest of us.

    Comment by Matthew — April 20, 2018 @ 4:22 pm - April 20, 2018

  14. And now the DNC fas filed a lawsuit against Russia, the Trump campaign, and Wikileaks for denying her the election

  15. Whenever the topic of Hillary came up, over tail-gate brewskis at the Hampton Inn, at weeny roasts under the stars at Black Bart’s junk yard after a day of ATV swamp mucking, over up-chucked tacos at Wild Bills, and during sunset seed spitting contests in Renfro Valley it always gave the Depolrables a hearty belly laugh.

Among the Deplorables are the gay, the queer, the hoi-polloi, the clingers, the bitter clingers, the neanderthals, the whites, the “who cares” types, the capitalists, the appealing, the appalling, the pretentious, the fake polite, the bawdy, the panderers, the grumblers, the stupid, the bright, the shirkers, the workers, the showboaters, the geeks, the Uncle Toms, the Oreos, all hypnotized and led by the NRA and making their women vote the way they tell them.

I know. Hillary told me so.

  17. I wonder how many people who had not bothered to vote were so insulted by her ‘deplorables’ comment they were motivated to show up and vote for Trump.

    Comment by Someone — April 22, 2018 @ 7:53 am - April 22, 2018

  18. And now Bill Clinton is accusing the NYT of being a mouthpiece for Trump. Yet another 1990s retread, like when Hillary complained of a “vast right-wing conspiracy” for expecting the President who gave us DOMA and DADT and bragged about it on Christian radio to be brought to justice for committing perjury and obstruction of justice regarding heterosexual adultery.
