  1. The most revealing thing I picked up from your excellent post was that when McClellan was forced out he had wanted to stay longer. To me, that totally destroys any credibility he has in the book.

  2. The most interesting thing to me is who the liberals prop up as heroes: Wesley Clarke, Joe Wilson, Richard Clarke, the douchebag who wrote articles about soldiers running over dogs, the ass clown who claimed to be an Iraq veteran but washed out in boot, etc. etc. etc.

They were good fodder for the MSM for, at most, a week and where are they now? Living in a van down by the river? They’re heroes as long as the truth doesn’t come out and then the liberals bury them faster’n a cat buries a turd in a sandbox.

  3. Republicans after all are capitalists. We and they are out to make a living in a capitalist country. If McClellan is truely a boob and just an average guy, he’s now looking for a payoff. After working in the White House he surely expected a career in media of some type. Look at all the former staffers on the payrolls of networks and cable. He got nothing. So I think he was forced to write a book. Now like others, O’Neil, Gergen, Brook, they search for their fame and fortune. I understand it. And view them appropriately. I don’t think many buy their books, other than critics trying to support the W hating movement.

  4. McClellan should be hoping for big book royalties – a day job could be hard to come by.

Who would want to hire a backstabber for any position of trust?

If Bush really was screwing us around, McClellan should have done the honorable thing: resign and go public. I could respect that.

But look at Dick Morris – McClellan could yet have a future.

  6. Actually you are right. What’s the difference between “journalists” and McClellan.

  7. Apparently McClellan practically had to make a deal with the devil himself to get his book published.

Why does this sound like a movie to me?

  8. What K-Lo said:

Scott McClellan does a lot of empty whining about “the Washington game” in his book, and on his media tour thus far. Ironically, Scott McClellan is what’s wrong with Washington: people in power who don’t believe in anything.

  9. Kevin – Don’t worry buddy, we are still laughing at you ;-)

Oh, before I forget – Congratulations on YET ANOTHER quarter of escaping the gay death camps of Wyoming! A life on the run is hard, I know. Yet you always manage to find a computer in whatever town you’re staying in, to treat us to your ‘special’ views. Awesome! :-)

  10. McClellan would be the ultimate insider, short of Dick Cheney, on this issue. And yet, despite his close proximity to the vortex of evil that is BusHitlerburtPretzel he does not advance the perpetual search for an ACTUAL LIE told by the President or surrogates. On the simple existence of this book the House is calling for Rove to testify on Plame again, yet as always just what Rove is supposed to have done, as opposed to Richard Armitage, goes unspoken. It looks like Soros had a pile of dust Leftwing manuscripts laying around, (a wasting asset in a post Bush world) mashed a few up and had Scott sign the bottom. This event will prove as momentous as the Downing Street Memo, its progenitor.
