This is why the Herman Cain “controversy” isn’t gaining any real traction; the MSM refuses to put out the essence of the story, although they want the anonymous woman to speak to give it more life. Her lawyer did not help her today. The Herman Cain “harassment” story is cotton candy hitting the water. It dissolves away…

Herman Cain accused by hundreds of inappropriate behavior

These incidents include late delivery of pizzas, taking place at hotels during conferences, at other officially sanctioned events and at business offices. Cold pizza and mix-ups on orders. There were also descriptions of physical gestures that were not in keeping with the expectations of a professional pizza delivery person and those who experienced or witnessed them felt uncomfortable with what they regarded as improper in a professional pizza ordering relationship. The gestures were of the delivery person waiting at the door with their one hand out obviously looking to cue the customer for a tip.

What is particularly amusing about all the attacks on Herman Cain is that it is indicative of the battle within the Republican Party, federalists aside. Left libertarians vs right libertarians in an industry inundated with homosexuals/bisexuals where sexual harassment is commonplace.

He certainly didn’t handle this very well which made him look bad. Eh, first-timer’s mistake I suppose which actually could be a point in his favor, i.e. that he isn’t an inside the beltway politician with all the requisite handlers. Well, not yet at least.

V, I’d forgotten all about that. Guess that was what the MSM were hoping for. And didn’t Mr. Jackson pay off his mistress with money from his organization, some of which was, um, donated by the federal government?

It’s time to start branding or repositioning the Democrat media outlets as Democrat, ie Politico Democrat, NYT Democrat, Washington Post Democrat, …

Its time to remove the vail or impartiality from these organizations.

TGC: It wouldn’t surprise me if that’s the meme being floated now, or soon will be. As the saying goes, even a broken clock is right twice a day. I caught a bit of Sean Hannity’s radio show the other day and Tony Blankley laid out a good case for why the allegations didn’t have much “there” there but Cain’s campaign still didn’t handle them well: having to retract or “correct” statements made when more information came out to swinging widely in the blame game beyond just MSM to include even the Perry campaign.

Sooooo…..the problem is, I guess, that Cain doesn’t know how to lie like a politician? The fact of the matter is that there was not “there” there. There was nothing to “prepare” a response for and no real questions to answer. I don’t see how Cain bungled anything.

A former staffer for Rev. Jesse Jackson and his non-profit Rainbow PUSH Coalition alleges in a lawsuit that he was discriminated against because he is gay, allegedly instructed to bring women to Jackson’s hotel rooms and sometimes sexually harassed by Jackson himself.
Tommy Bennett, who filed a sexual discrimination complaint with the Illinois Department of Human Rights in 2010, filed a lawsuit alleging “pervasive” sexual harassment during his time as a staffer at Rainbow PUSH, a social outreach group started by Reverend Jesse Jackson, Sr.
