  1. I have said multiple times that I don’t see PA painted red for this election, but if Romney manages to pull out the win, I don’t see anyway for Obama to come out the victor.

Even the fact that Romney is visiting and making Obama have to work for PA is a good thing.

  2. I just love this. The suburbs of Philadelphia is where the potential for Romney lies and he is going for the juggler of Mr. Obama right in old Pennsylvania.

Makes me smile to think the panic that is going on in Chicago and the White House.

Hey, I have an idea, send old Uncle Joe out there. I’m sure he can insult someone. God knows everyone in Pennsylvania looks like an indian, right Joe ! ! !

  3. There is no mathematical way for Obama to win without Pennsylvania. There are a number of ways for Romney to win without Ohio.

  4. BigGovernement has a post on how O’bama support among white Catholic voters is collapsing and white Catholic voters are a big chunk of the electorate in many midwestern states.

  6. As a resident of PA in the mid 1980s and also in the 1990s, I would say PA will be quite close, with a probable 1% Obama win. Western PA is more and more conservative, and Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) will not go much for Obama as the coal and natural gas industries favor the GOP. The key is the Philly suburbs. If they only go barely for Obama, he could be in trouble. The last comment is the aftereffects of Sandy. Will it depress turnout? Will there be poor weather on Election Day as there is a chance for rain and snow? Will Obama get a 300K vote margin in Philly itself?
