  1. Actually, “Living well is the best revenge”, something many Americans haven’t been doing for, oh, almost 4 years. I don’t like writing this about my president as I don’t like to think anyone like this aspires to and reaches such a high office but Obama is a petty a-hole. Today I watched videos of people in Staten Island and I am so over this administration and every other liberal tool in government that I could write a book about it. I keep reminding myself to hate liberalism and not liberals but people like Obama make it a genuine struggle.

  2. Which candidate? Probably not the one whose speeches are decscribed by his senior campaign advisor as coming “from his loins”. Ew. First it was Biden giving his listeners the whole load, and now this.

  4. “voting is the best revenge”?

Perhaps, he is simply reminding the gathering pitchforks outside the beltway that violence is not the answer to getting rid of him?

  5. What kind of president talks like this? The kind who needs desperately to be VOTED OUT OF OFFICE.

  6. Revenge for what?

  7. [...] In a democracy, Mr. President, voting is not “revenge” [...]

  8. Once again, the President reveals himself to be a big, fat, opportunistic phony who looks good in a suit. Sick of being quiet in the face of incompetence, in the face of excuses, for a man who disdains people of faith and co-opts the message of the desperate only as it suits him and only AFTER he’s hedged his bets. There’s almost nothing about this guy that isn’t rehearsed, including his so-called “compassion”. When he’s NOT as rehearsed, he slips, revealing hints of a crass, dismissive, condescending, sometimes confused and almost always narcissistic mind. “Revenge” is part of the vernacular of thugs – and that’s not surprising, given his Chicago politicking roots, where his African-American opponents remember a ruthlessly ambitious and unprincipled grandstander.

  9. The President is lacking common sense……what revenge would he be talking about? It certainly doesn’t make sense to us who have been following this campaign. Revenge for Mitt being a better candidate, for accomplishment, for all the money Obama spent to get everyone to hate Mitt which didn’t work?
Ignatius took the words out of my mouth, about living well is the best “revenge”….Obama has said some dumb things and it shouldn’t surprise me that he keeps doing so.

  10. Revenge? …Revenge?!
    Obama’s the incumbent…not the challenger!

    It merely demonstrates Obama’s p.o.v.
He’s not the President, he’s just still running for the office.

  11. I was thinking about Obama’s whole anger and revenge thing and what I earlier called the “divide and conquer” approach, but it occurred to me that the better term is really “divide and agitate” since he only seems to know how to make people angry, resentful and worked up.

Seriously, only dictators and other totalitarians try to rule by getting people riled up with anger, resentment, hatred and fear. That’s the best he can offer. If he doesn’t get tossed out by a huge margin on Tuesday, there are dark days ahead for our country.
