  1. they like the image his consultants had crafted

…and (for God knows what reason) refused to see through it, despite the strong evidence against it.

  2. Yeah, they want a lot of things repealed but they chose not to get off their lazy behinds and help make it happen.

  3. Romney said that he thought some parts of the ACA might be valid. However, there is so much in Obamacare that REALLY NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT. Diana Furchtgott-Roth wrote the following article in November 2012 that mentions some things people may not be aware of:

  4. Americans may have reelected Obama, but they still want to repeal Obamacare

Well, tough toenails to Americans, Obamacare is here to stay.

  5. Muslims are exempted from buying aca (he couldn’t pass this chance to protect his favorite class). Mass revolt by declaring yourself Muslim to bankrupt the system.

  6. Too bad this election was decided by people who thought Romney was going to outlaw tampons.

  7. Well, tough toenails to Americans, Obamacare is here to stay

To stay as long as the country survives; but Obamacare will hasten that end. An expanding Government on top of a failing economy will inevitably collapse.

Kind of ironic; the USSR collapsed because its economy couldn’t support its military. The USA will collapse because its economy couldn’t support its social programs.

  8. This doesn’t make me feel better… given that I already think that we’ve reached a critical mass of morons.

Whether it’s TSA groping; cops intimidating little kids running lemonade stands; long lines at DMV; uncontrolled immigration at a time of high unemployment, falling wages and social unraveling; or Obamacare – people gripe and moan about it and then reliably vote for more of it.

I’m with helio – tough toenails.

  9. #3 – That was a very well done article, and covered the topic well. But, the main problem with the article, and the vast majority of discussions about obamacare is that everyone is looking at and discussing it with a view from it being about healthcare. IT IS NOT ABOUT HEALTHCARE!! It is about moving as quickly as possible to a single payer system. Or, using another term: Socialized Medicine.

I am sure you have seen or heard the clip of obama talking to a union group, years before running, that he envisions a single payer system. He tells them it will take time, but he sees it in 10-15 years. It’s called incrementalism. He just happened to shove down our throats a big increment!!

Obamacare is a done deal. We are all going to have to live with it. Just look for the first time a liberal is told that his/her mom/grandmother is being sent home with a placebo because some “healthcare board” thinks extending their life for 5 more years is not worth the $75,000.00 operation. Please read following:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2013434/Help-Im-starving-death-6st-woman-paralysed-stomach-refused-life-saving-operation.html

This is what we have to look forward to in the very near future

P.S. This is personal. My son has the disease described in the story. But, I paid $50,000.00 for the operation, and he is alive and doing well. He has a gastric pacemaker implanted in his gut. I know first hand what the lady is facing. Pure death if she doesn’t get the device, and it ain’t pretty.
So, I say f_ck all you libs who support obamacare – a disaster is soon to be in your future.

  10. Voters are stupid if they want to repeal Obamacare but didn’t vote to do so. Obama doesn’t want to repeal Obamacare and Romney does.

  11. Obama will continue to be on defense with Benghazi, job stagnation, & inflation; therefore, I’m not sure ObamaCare is here to stay. People, generally, despise it.

  12. ObamaCare will still blow up in Obama’s face given the exchanges are voluntary; with 30 new GOP governors & several state legislatures in the GOP’s control, they are not going to accept the exchanges. Furthermore, the Feds doesn’t have any means to fund the same exchanges without new tax increases. The wrinkle is the states can reject the exchanges outright & still have no means to the Feds to fund them:

    http://finance.townhall.com/columnists/michaelfcannon/2012/11/11/obamacare_is_still_vulnerable

ObamaCare blows up in Obama’s face because of the breakdown in the exchanges; it goes back to Congress for a rewrite. But with a House GOP super-majority, ObamaCare goes nowhere. It implodes upon itself.

We still have time to get rid of it.

  14. I’m with Helio and SoCalRobert. Anyone who doesn’t like Obamacare who didn’t vote or who voted for Obama is a sucker who is going to deserve what they end up with under that mess of a bill.

  15. Personally I tend to think O’bamacare will implode but that it will take down a good portion of the healthcare system we now have with itm anyone besides me been paying attention to what;s going on with private practices. They’re all shutting down and Doctors have been moving to become employees of Health Care Systems. If Obamacare doesn’t work those health care systems will suddenly become very expensive and possibly unworkable. One near me is charging customers just for walking thru the door-a facility fee and it isn’t cheap.

  16. Hot Air talks about the states refusal to set-up the ObamaCare exchanges:

    http://hotair.com/archives/2012/11/12/will-multiple-states-non-cooperation-be-too-much-for-obamacare/

This will create further problems for ObamaCare & Feds when the states refuse to comply. It will collapse.

  17. Sebastian, I saw that too–and may blog on it. I hope the governors will follow through.
