  1. They are getting ready to take us sons of bitches out.

  2. I’d like to see Republicans just give Obama his tax increase. Just unconditionally raise taxes on the better off (who supported Obama anyway).

And then, when those tax increases pay for about three weeks of the annual deficit ask the President, “OK, now what?”

    Comment by V the K — November 13, 2012 @ 10:36 pm - November 13, 2012

  3. I think I have seen Obama offer a 3 to 1 split. (3 dollars cut on spending to every 1 dollar spent on tax increases)

If that is true and if it holds there is hope for this country’s fiscal health.

  4. I think I have seen Obama offer a 3 to 1 split. (3 dollars on spending unspecified spending cuts 100 years in the future to every 1 dollar spent on tax increases guaranteed to happen immediately)

    FIFY, concern troll.

    Comment by V the K — November 14, 2012 @ 12:08 am - November 14, 2012

  5. Excellent.

Then he can cut the spending first and have the tax increases in four years.

Watch the child Obama and his concern troll mike choke on that one.

  6. Oh my god, I really don’t know if I can take four more years of this. Anything less than doing everything Paul Ryan wants him to do is going to be met with this groan about Obama’s partisanship.

I wish you could find a new talking point. Maybe you could recycle ‘Whining About Teleprompters,’ that was a good one.

    Comment by Levi — November 14, 2012 @ 12:39 am – November 14, 2012

    Yup.

Because the screaming idiot child Barack Obama has stated that anyone who doesn’t support him as Fuhrer is a racist, and his stupid puppets like you, Levi, agreed with him.

You wanted a fight; you’ve got one.

And you’re screaming and crying and bawling because again and again and again, conservatives are showing with facts and links how you and your Barack Obama are both deluded, hypocritical liars.

    Comment by North Dallas Thirty — November 14, 2012 @ 1:28 am - November 14, 2012

  8. The Sociopath and the Concern Troll can whine all they want… but what they can’t do is provide a link to any detailed Obama plan to reduce spending in return for a tax increase.

    Comment by V the K — November 14, 2012 @ 5:25 am - November 14, 2012

  9. @V the K

Links? Levi is just relying on the Underpants Gnomes’ business plan.

    1 Raise taxes
    2 ?
    3 Profit

  10. Well one thing is certain as this president and congress start looking where to cut-the unions will be protected by Obama. Everyone else will have to feel some pain, but union pay and pensions are going to be preserved.

    Comment by Just Me — November 14, 2012 @ 8:29 am - November 14, 2012

  11. Oh my god, I really don’t know if I can take four more years of this: where no matter what, Levi blames it on Bush.

Of course, that is entirely a bipartisan and unifying and wholly factual, unassailable and absolutely Tom Terrific matter of actual real truth.

    Comment by heliotrope — November 14, 2012 @ 9:08 am - November 14, 2012

  12. Paul Krugman: Don’t give in to any Republican demands, even if doing so would “inflict damage on a still-shaky economy.

Oh, yeah, the left is totally willing to be reasonable.

    Comment by V the K — November 14, 2012 @ 9:23 am - November 14, 2012

  13. John Galt: Let the Democrats have their tax and spend bacchanalia, even if doing so would crash the economy.

The left has invited government dependency to expand exponentially, so let them cut the budget and raise the taxes to bring the greatest good to a rapidly expanding number of quitters and suckers at the government tit.

Certainly the working stiffs only need to work harder and be taxed higher for this grand scheme to work. Levi alone could support 20 or 30 entitlement recipients by writing philosophy books and selling them on the street.

    Comment by heliotrope — November 14, 2012 @ 9:37 am - November 14, 2012

  14. I don’t think pointing out Obama plans a 3 to 1 spending cuts to new taxes ratio Is concern trolling. I would hope you find that reassuring.

    Comment by mike — November 14, 2012 @ 11:03 am - November 14, 2012

  15. Show me a link with specifics about these cuts Glorious Leader was supposedly willing to make. Show me a link that proves these were real cuts, and not an empty promise to slow spending at some point in the future.

Prove to me that this 3 to 1 cuts thing was a real proposal by those criteria, or concede that you are parroting an empty talking point by failing to provide such evidence.

    Comment by V the K — November 14, 2012 @ 11:22 am - November 14, 2012

  16. BTW, Concern Troll….

Obama Campaigning: $3 In Cuts For Every $1 In Taxes
Obama at Debate: $2.5 in Cuts For Every $1 In Taxes
Obama’s Actual Plan: $3 In Taxes For Every $1 In Cuts

    Comment by V the K — November 14, 2012 @ 12:01 pm - November 14, 2012

  17. Exactly, V the K.

Because, as we know, Barack Obama lies when he talks about spending cuts.

It is an empty talking point. Barack Obama makes those because he knows concern trolls like mike are malicious moochers and looters who will repeat his every lie because he promised them Obamaphones, food stamps, free health care, cars, gas, and mortgages at other peoples’ expense.

    Comment by North Dallas Thirty — November 14, 2012 @ 12:02 pm - November 14, 2012

  18. Obama believes in only two kinds of cuts.

    1. Cuts to National Defense.
    2. Imaginary cuts to be enacted by some future president.

    Comment by V the K — November 14, 2012 @ 12:03 pm - November 14, 2012

  19. BTW, NDT… I don’t want to hear any whining about being labeled moochers and parasites from people who’ve been calling us bigots and racists for decades.

    Comment by V the K — November 14, 2012 @ 12:04 pm - November 14, 2012

  20. NDT Obama when Obama is moving his lips he is lying.

And I am all but willing to bet that Obama doesn’t cut a single precious dollar to his union thugs.

    Comment by Just Me — November 14, 2012 @ 12:19 pm - November 14, 2012

  21. It appears that the unions will be frequent visitors to the Oval Office. Of course, Obama will give them everything they ask for. Unions demands have practically bankrupted the socialist countries in the Europen Union. This must be their goal for the U.S. Bankrupted sociliasts will take the next step to marxism. That is Obama´s plan to assume dictitorial powers to govern in 2016 and beyond. don´t be surprised to see Hugo Chavez, Rafael Correa, Evo Morales, and Cristina Kirschner visiting the White House.

    Comment by Roberto — November 14, 2012 @ 1:30 pm - November 14, 2012

  22. I favor abolishing the military so that Obama has one huge sum ($700 Billion) to cut his deficit spending down to “just” $700 Billion until the Exceptionally Affordable Absolute Care Act for Everyone Including Illegal Aliens pushes it right back up to $1.4 Trillion and probably much more.

But here is a small, tiny, insignificant problem: When the Democrats get the $700 Billion windfall from eliminating the military, do you think they will spend a little bit of it on pork and jelly beans?

    Comment by heliotrope — November 14, 2012 @ 3:29 pm - November 14, 2012

  23. Ah, the unions… would these be the same folks that go on strike at Hostess (in Chap 11) and then feign shock when Hostess shuts down plants and warns that they may close and liquidate?

The private-sector unions are not looking out for their members (surprise!)… if they were, they wouldn’t be shilling for open borders. I can’t imagine that out-of-work union members are happy with the idea of millions more workers in the labor pool competing for fewer jobs.

I can understand public-sector unions… anything to swell the ranks – the nation be damned.

mike – I’ll believe BHO’s proposed spending cuts when (if) they ever happen… and they have to be absolute cuts – none of this “cuts in the rate of growth” (we were planning to spend $10 more next year but we’ll only spend $8 more so there’s a $2 cut).
