  1. Unless Rice comes clean and spills everything on Obama and Clinton (under oath) no way should these 3 Senators allow her to be confirmed.

  2. “Sens. Kelly Ayotte (R., N.H.) and Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.) emphasized they were more concerned today about the administration narrative and Ambassador Rice than they were before the meeting.”

““I remember the John Bolton episode pretty well,” he pointed out. “Our Democrat friends felt like John Bolton — they didn’t have the information needed to make an informed decision about Ambassador Bolton’s qualifications — John Bolton to be ambassador — and Democrats dug in their heels and said, ‘We’re not going to vote, we’re not going to consider this nomination until we get basic answers to our concerns.’””

“After Bolton was forced to resign as ambassador, Graham opined that the Democrats’ filibuster “unfairly undermines President Bush’s prerogative to appoint his own people to his team.””

  3. I fear the main story is being lost… Susan Rice is a side show… I’d rather they focus on who left the people at the Benghazi consulate to the savages and why.

  4. Questions our Republican castrati in the Senate won’t ask at Rice’s confirmation hearing (but should):

    Q. Ms. Rice, when you received your talking points, did you question at all why participants in a “spontaneous demonstration” brought heavy arms and rocket propelled grenades?

    Q. Ms. Rice, do you support the President’s decision not to send in assistance to the consulate during the seven hours it was under attack?

    Q. Ms. Rice, do you support the President’s decision not to increase security at the Benghazi Consulate in the months before the attack; despite documented evidence of a deteriorating security situation and requests for more security from the Ambassador?

    Q. Ms. Rice, do you share the President’s belief that four murdered Americans are just “bumps in the road” on the path to his Middle East Agenda?

    Q. Ms. Rice, was it appropriate for the President to fly off to a gala fundraiser in Las Vegas the day after four Americans were murdered in Benghazi?

  5. My opposition to Susan Rice is based on her central role in explaining away the Rwanda Genocide.

  6. And what are these Senators concerns? They don’t explain themselves. They just say they’re troubled. They’re disturbed. WELL BY WHAT? Why aren’t they being specific? What did Susan Rice say to them that makes them feel more troubled/disturbed? Why won’t they tell the American people why they are more trouble/disturbed by what Rice said?

Let’s finish this. Susan Rice has been the popular pick to replace Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State in Obama’s second term. Republicans don’t want her to be the Secretary of State, because they want Obama to pick somebody else. Specifically, they would like Obama to pick John Kerry to be Secretary of State. They want John Kerry in the cabinet because that would take John Kerry out of the Senate, and Republicans would have a chance to pick up a much-needed seat in the Senate. Therefore, John McCain and Lindsey Graham are putting on a big show and trying really hard to make it seem like Susan Rice is a stupid liar so that there is controversy surrounding her nomination. The idea is that Obama would want to sidestep the political battle and just appoint John Kerry instead, giving the Republicans their opportunity at his seat.

That’s it. McCain doesn’t care about Benghazi or dead ambassadors, he cares about getting another Republican Senator. This perfectly explains his behavior, especially his unwillingness to be specific in any way about what he thinks is wrong with Susan Rice. They refuse to articulate because they don’t really care about what Rice said or did, they just want to associate her with something negative. In other words, they’re lying, and you guys are slurping it right up!

  7. Q. Ms. Rice, when you received your talking points, did you question at all why participants in a “spontaneous demonstration” brought heavy arms and rocket propelled grenades?

You are a moron. Rice stated that there was a spontaneous demonstration about the video, and then later on heavily armed people joined the demonstration to launch their attack. You are asking a question that makes no sense because it is based on an incorrect recollection of what Rice said.

So when conservatives have questions, what you really mean to say is that conservatives can’t read transcripts or remember information and ask questions that are already answered.

Note: Screaming liar boy who screams and rants that Obama, Susan Rice, and every other member of the Obama Party doesn’t have to tell anyone anything ever is now demanding that Republicans have to tell everyone everything always.

You’re a partisan idiot and bigot, Levi. Everyone here knows that you are an insane nutjob who worships Obama as God and exempts Obama from any laws, standards, or requirements that you would ever put on or apply to Republicans.

Actually, Levi, you tried this already, and were smacked down and humiliated with direct quotes that show you are ignorant of and refuse to read transcripts.

Since you don’t post these alleged “transcripts”, you are automatically assumed to be lying. When you provide links and evidence to back up your statements, you may be taken seriously.

So if the problem with Rice and Obama is that they are keeping things secret and not answering questions (which isn’t true), then why can’t Lindsey Graham and John McCain explain themselves a little more thoroughly than “We’re troubled. We’re disturbed.” ? Conservatives don’t seem to care what Rice said to them, or how McCain and Graham are arriving at their conclusions, they’re content knowing that the senators are troubled and disturbed by Rice. You’ll just have to trust their assessment, I guess? I thought you guys had questions that you wanted answered, and here come 3 Republicans who just got to ask whatever questions they wanted, and nobody seems to care what the answers were. Why are you people so riled up about this stuff again?

Moreover, you out yourself as a misogynist by refusing to refer to Senator Ayotte. But that’s typical; Obama supporters like yourself are trying to hide the lies you’re telling by screaming “racist” and “misogynist”, and including Senator Ayotte blows that away. Indeed, given how your screaming idiot Obama is so desperate that he claims the only reason people are criticizing Rice is that they support the Confederacy, we can expect even worse, especially since you don’t have the mental capacity to say that your Obama is wrong.

  11. Again: Screaming liar boy who screams and rants that Obama, Susan Rice, and every other member of the Obama Party doesn’t have to tell anyone anything ever is now demanding that Republicans have to tell everyone everything always.

You need a refresher. Susan Rice agreed to meet with McCain and Graham as a courtesy. This was not any kind of official inquiry or anything, the Obama administration simply offered to have Susan Rice meet with these senators and give them a chance to have their questions answered. So, contrary to your description of events, the Obama administration volunteered to tell Republicans what they wanted to know. They were under no obligation to, but they did.

I am not saying that Obama and Rice never have to answer questions. I’ve never argued that for a moment, and as evidenced by this meeting that they offered Republicans, they are not stonewalling or preventing anybody from asking questions.

So after this is all said and done, the Republicans come out and have nothing to say. They didn’t say what they asked Rice, they didn’t say how Rice responded, they just said they were disturbed and troubled. These senators, who are supposedly on a crusade to bring justice and truth to the American people, have decided to offer no specifics and are instead spouting off little sound bites and insults.
