Well, unlike the left’s “Let’s arbitrarily designate some guns as assault weapons and make them illegal” plan, the NRA’s plan would actually save lives.
Also, interesting how the same media that proudly takes credit for changing society’s views on homosexuality by depicting relentlessly positive images of gay people… scoffs at the notion that relentless depiction of graphic violence has any influence on behavior whatsoever.

Typical leftie projection. Gun control, to the extent it denies guns to the good guys, costs lives. Blood, to the extent it is on anyone’s hands but the killer’s, is hardly on the NRA’s hands.

It’s time to hold accountable the cretins responsible for every school shooting in the last 20 years.
No, not the NRA – the mindless bags of used food who decreed these so-called “gun-free” zones.
They actually seem to believe that a “gun-free” placard works like a cross to vampires. Actual evidence seems not to penetrate.

It’s truly amazing the amount and intensity of the anti-gun propaganda over the Newtown, CT shootings. The anti-gunners think they can advance their agenda NOW. I can’t remember when I’ve seen this level of anti-gun ferocity online.
Meanwhile, the NRA says it’s getting 8,000 new members a day, so not everybody is going to lie down for this.
At the state level, this could get nasty in certain places.
The one good thing I can see is that the propaganda in the news media seems to be flagging a bit. Either the antis are taking a breather to get their second wind, or people in the media, including left of center LGBT blogs, have remembered that there are other important issues that also need attention. Who knows, it could be simple hysteria-fatigue, or some people are getting a little tired of talking about this, or mostly or only about this. And Christmas is coming up. So maybe they’ll try to ramp it up again in January, but they might find they don’t have the momentum they think they have right now.

Not only that but my own unscientific search revials al most no gun store has a pump action shotgun or other “home defense” type long gun in stock. They are selling out on all semi auto matics as well.

The problem is not guns or automatic weapons. The problem is undiagnosed schizophrenia or borderline psychotic homosexuals and bisexuals. We all know the sociopathic homosexuals and bisexuals of the APAs will never acknowledge that homosexuals and bisexuals are disproportionately affected by borderline personality disorder.
