  1. Obama, accept any blame for anything?

Never happen. I would sooner expect my pet pug to look up at me with her huge bug-eyes and explain Quantum Mechanics to me than to have Zero admit that any of this is his fault.

I mean, he lies about who put the idea of this sequester out there. He has demonstrated time and again that he is unwilling to compromise (“I get that for free”), and he has the audacity to say CONGRESS should compromise? After bad-mouthing them publicly?

I’d have ended with “Hypocrite, heal thyself,” personally :)

  3. First of all, sequester reductions are <2.5% of the spend — it is ludicrous to say this will bring the government and economy to its knees.

Second, there is usually plenty of opporunity to cut non-people related spend and I bet government is no different — they should be able to find ways of cutting costs without sacrificing major services.

Third, they had two months to plan hoiw they would get these reductions — they have an obligation to the nation to plan and do it in a way that is least disuptive. Trying to peanut butter cuts after they had time to plan is irresponsible.

Fourth, if they can't cut 2.5% without imploding all over the place, does it give anyone any confidence that the government will be able to cut any spending ever?

I could go on… this is a joke.
