  1. Something similar occurred to me as the scenario that Moe Lane laid out. It arrives at the same conclusion, but I think it’s a much simpler explanation.

Revolutionaries are the best qualified people to seize control of “the means of production”. What never occurs to them until it’s too late is that none of them know how to run the machines in the factory that they’ve taken over.

The job of any military is to take control of territory. That’s what it is designed to do. But a military force is not suited to govern.

“In war the ends justify almost any means.”

  2. I went to my CPA today, and it seems my income tax rate will go up by around 6-7% this year as my rates go up, Obamacare taxes kick in, and I lose the majority of my deductions. See, Obama loathes private charity, and he prefers govt charity. So wealthy people like myself will donate less and people in need will suffer. I guess the Commie in chief will then blame us for contributing less money. What a f***ing asshole he is.

  3. The sequestration propaganda is a joke. Saying they can’t cut <2.5% without causing apocalypse is just plain silly. Anyone who has ever run a business or managed a budget can do this — it is a low target. If they can't cut 2.5%, they are effectively saying they will never cut any spending… How does the country not see this?

  4. This President is completely irresponsible when it comes to spending. Under this administration Federal spending increased from $2.9 trillion to $3.8 trillion in 4 years. That’s about a 30% increase in spending. During that time inflation was around 1%. So increasing costs weren’t the driver. And now this President is saying spending can’t be cut 2% without disastrous consequences. What kind of a joke is that? How can this not be a field day for conservatives? How could any Republican think they hold anything but the high ground and act accordingly? If this pathetic excuse for what was once the Grand Old Party can still do anything right it better be to hold the line on the budget and get something meaningful done. Otherwise they should just pack it up now and go home because they are done.

  5. Obama continues to use campaign because he wants to be reelected again. There are still a few idiots (leftists) who are in love with the guy and admire Hugo Chavez, that they want Barak Obama to continue being President. A New York Rep, I believe his name is Jay Sandoval, is proposing to present an Amendment to the Constitution to repeal the 22nd, which is term limits for the President. He thinks Obama should be able to have a third and forth terms, if he so desires (just like Chavez). It´s for the good of the country. Hah!

  6. His new trick is to release dangerous criminals onto the population. I don’t think Carter was this much of a dick!
