  1. It’s not the cost that bothers me…I expect to get screwed.
It’s not the flummery…they’re politician, they always lie.

I’m peeved at the “voluntarily-compulsory” buy-it-or-else imposition of a fine for “not doing” anything.

But the worst is the conflation of the “navigators” and the IRS. There are no safeguards of my personal medical records, my financial and business records, nor my personal identity information. For this reason-alone I plan to sit-out the first year and just pay the $95 “fine”.

Needed medical-attention should not trigger a tax audit!!

    One anal-probing at a time thank-you….

Yes Ted, you are so right. But, what could be far worse is that decisions made with respect to your total healthcare could/will be based on what you think, your opinions, your party affiliation, your voter registration, possibly how you vote, your income status, cost of your care to the state, and a plethora of other similar insignificant factoids about you as a person that should have NO bearing on your healthcare services. THAT is the really scary thing to ponder.

But, then again, what do I know. Obama promissed me “the best healthcare system” in the world – he wouldn’t lie to me about that, would he?

  3. We are all socialists now, like it or not. We now will pay through the nose for health care of people that hate us and would spit on us before they would return the favor. If you’re lucky enough to get a hospital bed the person in the room with you will be getting the same level of care but they won’t be paying for it, you will. Let that sink in.

  4. Iowahawk recently tweeted: “…it may not be Affordable, it may not include Care, but it is an Act.

Some think tank reviewed things and discovered that the average premium will not decline by $2500 after all, nor will you be able to keep your insurance if you wish, nor will you be able to keep your doctor. Oh, my.

    Aren’t think tanks just wonderful?

So many lies were told and so much flummery was spread over any aspect of “transparency” that trying to lay a finger on who raped us first is useless in this free-for-all, socialists-running-wild, gang-bang.

The good news is that Delaware got its first and only Obamacare enrollment today. After all, every journey of a bazillion miles begins with just one idiot.

An ailing ice cream company with a few retail outlets shut down today because of the confusion of possible costs of Obamacare. The libs are mocking the company for being weak and confused.

I am sure the formerly employed folks are just thrilled. In this roaring economy, the stronger competition will certainly swoop in and take over the niche market that has been abandoned. Or not. Only Passing By knows for certain.

  5. I’ll go you one better, Ted B. I’m not paying the fine, either.

  6. When I share heath care information on Facebook, I always say “Shocking news! To people who couldn’t do math!” We all saw this coming.
