Once Again, You’re Probably a Racist

We’re just two weeks out from Halloween. (Silver Shamrock!) And as we know, every holiday must be used as an occasion for virtue signaling and head tilty lecture from our leftist “betters.” So, here ya go… 8 Halloween Costumes That Are Actually Racist, Even if You Might Not Realize It.

The TL:DR version is… Gypsy, Voodoo priestess, Day of the Dead (unless you’re Mexican), Nazi, Rastafarian, Egyptian Goddess, Geisha, Border Wall.

Most of those costumes are lame anyway. And would a Nazi really be so bad if it were a ‘Dead Snow’ inspired zombie Nazi? Probably.

I bet it’s still OK to dress as a Communist, though.

In case you’re wondering, dressing up as Obama is OK if the costume celebrates his coolness and awesomeness, but if it is in anyway mocking or critical, then you’re a racist.

I did not make that last part up.

Apple Diversity Chief Makes Truthful Statement, Is Forced to Recant

Denise Young Smith, the humanoid in charge of promoting diversity at Apple, said something perfectly common sensible at some tech conference. This is what she said.

There can be 12 white blue-eyed blonde men in a room and they are going to be diverse too because they’re going to bring a different life experience and life perspective to the conversation.

This sent the social justice wankers of Silicon Valley to their fainting couches.

The phrase appears to allow for Apple to make diversity and inclusion hiring decisions based solely on diversity of thought. There’s nothing inherently wrong with diverse thinking, but treating it with primary importance eliminates the many benefits of a racial-and-gender-diverse workforce and many see it as, frankly, a complete cop-out in trying to solve a very real problem.

“Diversity of thought” has long been a lever used by critics of the concept of D&I work to push back against meaningful diversity efforts.

Diversity of thought is anathema to the social justice left. Everyone has to think the same way, and those who think differently must be silenced and punished. The only diversity that matters is skin tone, national origin, genitalia, and preferred use of genitalia.

Young Smith has been forced to denounce herself, and reaffirm that she loves Big Sister very, very much.

Last week, while attending a summit in Bogota, I made some comments as part of a conversation on the many factors that contribute to diversity and inclusion.

I regret the choice of words I used to make this point. I understand why some people took offense. My comments were not representative of how I think about diversity or how Apple sees it. For that, I’m sorry.

More importantly, I want to assure you Apple’s view and our dedication to diversity has not changed.

Understanding that diversity includes women, people of color, LGBTQ people, and all underrepresented minorities is at the heart of our work to create an environment that is inclusive of everyone.

There, now she’s thinking just like everybody else.

Diversity.

How silly are racial categories? At least this silly

Recently I heard about Irish Latino people. The concept has to do with Irish immigration to Mexico. These people are genetically Ginger, politically and linguisticially Mexican.

Not to be confused with the Black Irish, which is any non-ginger or dark-haired Irish person, sometimes said to be descended from Spanish navy who were shipwrecked in Ireland hundreds of years ago.

They’re all fine people with valid identities. I like Irish, I like Mexican, I like gingers, I like the dark-haired. But, do you see where this is going? In today’s society you can be translucently pearl-white with family originally from Ireland – and, if you wish, claim Hispanic identity. Which is, supposedly, a “race” like any other.

“Race” is an example of an anti-category: A classifier that actually confuses people and harms rational thought, because it based on an arbitrary mix of concepts: part national origin, part skin tone, part birth language or language of your last name, and part personal choice. It’s as silly as if I were to categorize fruits based on whether they’re yellow, a type of apple, picked on a Tuesday, or something I like to cook with.

We should immediately drop all racial categories and move to a post-racial society.

Pelosi disavows Antifa

Via Cernovich Media:

Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi issued a statement [Tuesday] disavowing alt-left terrorist organization ANTIFA…

“Our democracy has no room for inciting violence or endangering the public, no matter the ideology of those who commit such acts. The violent actions of people calling themselves antifa in Berkeley this weekend deserve unequivocal condemnation, and the perpetrators should be arrested and prosecuted.”

Full Pelosi statement here.

Kudos to Pelosi for denouncing Antifa by name. As The Daily Caller says, “This marks the first-time Pelosi has condemned Antifa and is quite possibly the first time she has acknowledged the group’s existence.”

Now, if only we can get Mitt Romney, John McCain, Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan to do the same. Remember how their heads exploded when President Trump condemned political violence “on both sides”?

Sidebar: In case any leftie reading this doubts Trump’s full-on condemnation of the KKK, here is a “highlight reel” of him denouncing David Duke many times, over the years:

YouTube Preview Image

Also, if you would like, you can still join the whitehouse.gov petition to Formally recognize AntiFa as a terrorist organization.

Yvonne Felarca Flashback: The Feds arrested her in July. And Eric Clanton. So there is a little pushback on Antifa; and maybe we’ll see more.

UPDATE – It’s a trend: Berkeley’s mayor finally denounces Antifa, calling for the police to classify them as a “street gang”.

Arreguin said that while he does not support the far right, it was time to draw the line on the left as well…

Trump – and we – were just ahead of the curve. 😉

This is a white supremacist? – Lefties, get real!

This is the “Patriot Prayer” guy, whose rally Nancy Pelosi recently smeared and shut down.

He identifies as a Person of Color (and is at least partly Japanese). He’s pro-gay marriage, anti-drug – but libertarian on drug policy, anti-racist, non-preachy / quiet Christian, and wants to build a healthy culture where people discuss differences with love and kindness.

Antifa surrounds and gasses him, for his trouble.

UPDATE: Antifa at work.

I don’t know what happened before or after this short clip; but, in the clip, 2 guys (called Father and Son) retreat from a feral mob of Antifa and are beaten down.

The Left shuts down another rally for peace

From the SF Examiner:

An Aug. 26 rally planned at Crissy Field by the group Patriot Prayer has San Francisco politicians from Rep. Nancy Pelosi to Mayor Ed Lee denouncing it as hateful, with warnings that past rallies by the group have attracted white supremacists. In the wake of this news, Joey Gibson, the prominent organizer of Patriot Prayer, has decided to speak out.

I added emphasis to “attracted”, because what a strange construction!

Media don’t say that Joey Gibson or Patriot Prayer are racist. No, no, no. They know it to be false (and you’ll see why, below). Here’s another example, “His group in the past has organized other events that have attracted white supremacists…”

They’re saying that, because white supremacist *troublemakers might decide on their own* to show up and manufacture trouble, Gibson/PP’s activities are then “hateful” and Gibson/PP’s constitutional right to peaceably assemble should be denied.

I’ve never seen a better indicator that the constant rumors might be true of David Duke, Richard Spencer, etc. being on the government’s and/or Left’s payroll. What a way to shut down anything with “prayer” or “patriot” in it! Create fake (or at least irrelevant) charges of white supremacy. But, to continue:

[Examiner] What do you say to San Francisco’s oppositional reaction to your rally?

[Gibson] …I constantly promote love. In love, you don’t see skin color. I’m trying to focus on who people are on the inside…There’s a lot of liberals I have common ground with. Moderates.

[Examiner] OK, if you’re down the middle, who do you agree with on the left?

[Gibson] In my view, half of America. Gay rights, being against the drug war…

[Examiner] In a Facebook live event you said San Francisco is disgusting. What did you mean?

[Gibson] Downtown San Francisco just looks horrible. I’m not blaming the left. It’s the hate, and the drugs.

[Examiner] Do you mean the homeless?

[Gibson] No. I used to be homeless…

[Examiner] What ethnicity are you, by the way?

[Gibson] I’m Japanese.

[Examiner] How do you feel about the political pushback?

[Gibson] Pelosi is lying for her own selfish reasons. She quadrupled the size of the rally. She made it more dangerous, with complete lies.

[Examiner] What about San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee?

[Gibson] It’s the same. It’s a complete lie for political gain [that the rally is a white supremacist rally].

[Examiner] But your rallies have attracted white supremacists, skinheads and neo-Nazis before. Why should anyone believe they will not, again?

[Gibson] We won’t let any extremists speak. We’ll let moderates speak. It’s a big part of the goal. We have 10 speakers now, and out of them, we have one white male speaking…We made signs saying we don’t support Identity Europa. I’ve literally disowned white supremacists [in his videos]…

Feel free to Read The Whole Thing; I tried to give the essence. Or you can check out Tucker’s interview with Gibson – who appears to be mixed-race, including Japanese-American.

Also, here’s a link to video where Gibson identifies as a “person of color” (his term) and emphasizes that Patriot Prayer is about spirituality and unity.

Now, what did Nasty Pelosi have to say about this guy? She called his rally “white supremacist”, flat out, then tried to imply that the Trump White House was behind San Francisco’s local decision to permit the rally.

This is a dark moment. The Alt Left – including Nancy Pelosi and other politicians who enjoy the Alt Left’s hateful violence and refuse to limit or deny it anything – has taken America to a very bad place. Half of America is to be stripped of its constitutional rights to speech and assembly, based on demagoguing the other half with lies/delusions.

I’m sorry to say that Breitbart’s role in all this was not good; they initially joined the “white supremacist” smear, and had to correct. Uncharacteristic.

How exactly did Charlottesville go so wrong?

A number of articles in the last two weeks raise important questions about the role of the police/government, in generating the Charlottesville tragedy. In presenting some of them below, I’m keeping my tone as neutral as I can.

Aug. 25 from the New York Times, “As White Nationalist in Charlottesville Fired, Police ‘Never Moved’”.

As demonstrators clashed near a downtown park here two weeks ago, a white nationalist protester in a bulletproof vest turned, pointed a pistol toward the crowd and fired a single shot at the ground, in the direction of a black man wielding an improvised torch.

To make his escape, a video recording shows, the armed protester strolled past a line of about a dozen state police troopers who were safely positioned about 10 feet away behind two metal barricades. None of them budged.

“We all heard it and ran — I know damn well they heard it,” said Rosia Parker, a community activist in Charlottesville. “They never moved.”

And so on. They got the shooter later, yay! But why only later? What were the police doing, on-scene? Nothing.

Note: That does not necessarily mean the police were wrong; it could be, rather, that a higher authority gave them bad orders. You will see this become a theme. As NYT puts it, “So stark was the police failure to intervene, many participants in the protest and counterprotests believe it was by design.”

Next, the finger-pointing between local police, Virginia state police, and various politicians (including Gov. Terry McAuliffe – D). From the above NYT article:

The city did not use a number of security measures recommended by the state police, said Brian Moran, Virginia’s secretary of public safety and homeland security, including a ban on weapons and sticks of all kinds. The state also proposed designating parking areas, busing protesters and cutting off traffic for at least 10 blocks. None of that happened, he said…

The organizers of the rally said the [local] police had unilaterally changed details that they spent weeks negotiating, such as how they would safely enter and exit the park. “They didn’t follow through on any part of their plan,” said one of the coordinators…“They threw the whole thing away without telling us.” The changes involved every aspect of logistics, he said, including where counterprotesters would be, which streets would be blocked and how V.I.P.s would enter.

More from Breitbart:

From The Washington Free Beacon on Aug. 14, more on the finger-pointing between the Virginia State Police and Gov. McAuliffe: (more…)

Trump statements on Charlottesville

Since the media and the Left (but I repeat myself) have misled people so much on this, I thought I would collect President Trump’s statements on Charlottesville for future reference. Emphasis added. (more…)

What a Stupid Time to be Alive

The Atlantic publishes an article complaining that the solar eclipse is racist. I am not making this up.

Concerning “the Great American Eclipse,” Brooklyn Law School professor Alice Ristroph writes in the rapidly deteriorating magazine, “there live almost no black people” “along most of its path.”

In its final paragraph, The Atlantic concludes that the United States is “still segregated” and has “debts that no honest man can pay.” Cryptically, the magazine suggests, “the strange path of the eclipse suggests a need for reorganization” of the entire American political system.

Hey, genius, the population of the USA is only 13% black people. Of course an eclipse that crosses the country is mostly going to be visible to non-blacks.

The article is published under the category: “Science”

Russian-Nazi racist helped Black colleges

Scott Adams has been pushing a certain list of Trump accomplishments as President. Adams says:

1. Identify your most lefty, Trump-hating friend or family member.

2. Share this link of President Trump’s accomplishments while you are in the same room so you can watch them read it.

3. Watch as your lefty friend turns “cognitively blind” to the list of accomplishments as if it is not really there. Your subject will KNOW President has accomplished nothing…

…The list will simply be “invisible,” but not in the literal sense, only the mental sense. If you check back in two days, your anti-Trumper will claim once again no such list exists. Watch their eyes when they say it. It will be freaky.

To be fair, some items on the list are a bit exaggerated. But others, I had no idea about. Most of the media never told me. For example, this one about black colleges caught my eye:

February 28… President Donald Trump signed an executive order Tuesday aimed at signaling his commitment to historically black colleges and universities…

“This is a great day for my membership and a great day for America,” said Lezli Baskerville, head of the National Association For Equal Opportunity in Education, an umbrella group for public, private and land-grant HBCUs…

Trump’s order moves the Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities from the Department of Education into the executive office of the White House. It directs the initiative to work with the private sector to strengthen the fiscal stability of HBCUS, make infrastructure improvements, provide job opportunities for students, work with secondary schools to create a college pipeline and increase access and opportunity for federal grants and contracts.

Separately and also interesting, there’s the freeing of Aya Hijazi:

April 21… President Donald Trump hailed the return of Aya Hijazi, an Egyptian-American aid worker, in the Oval Office on Friday, telling the American charity worker she showed “great strength” in her ordeal.

“We are very happy to have Aya back home,” Trump said, seated alongside Hijazi, who returned from Egypt late Thursday. “It’s a great honor to have her in the Oval Office with her brother.”

…Trump was briefed on Hijazi’s case early in his term and directed his national security team to take steps to secure her release…

Obviously, this post’s title is sarcastic.

This is a Nazi? Lefties, get real!

I won’t endorse everything that Shiva Ayyadurai says or does, but he was one of the Boston Free Speech Rally speakers whom the “Punch a Nazi!” Alt Left protestors shut down on Saturday.

An Indian-American immigrant, he’s also an anti-GMO food activist who says “Black lives do matter” (a quote from the speech he gave, where the above pic was taken).

Oh, but he’s a Republican running against Fauxcahontas. That makes him personally guilty of The Holocaust. /sarc

Some slight good news: Missouri Senate moves slowly to expel Maria Chappelle-Nadal.

This is weird: President Trump tweeted, “I want to applaud the many protestors in Boston who are speaking out against bigotry and hate. Our country will soon come together as one!”

Scott Adams takes it as a tactic to chip away at the Alt Left’s hysteria, tweeting “Pro tip: If your nemesis applauds your protest, you’re doing it wrong.”

Well, This Is a Left-Wing Dilemma

“I guess they’ll have to tear down RuPaul.” – GP

I mean, I guess one could say it was done in jest, but there is no room for jest on the social justice left. In fact, the idea that he would make a joke of the brutalities inflicted for 400 years on black bodies blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda racist.

Barcelona car attacks

As you know, terrorists killed at least 14 people in Barcelona on Thursday with cars, and injured at least 100 more in multiple attacks.

A group called “Islamic State” claimed responsibility, making them explicitly political and Islamic attacks.

By any objective measure, this is a much worse tragedy and problem than what happened in Charlottesville last weekend, although our thoughts and prayers are with all victims of both.

The LA Times article above phrases it oddly. LAT’s title says the attack is “blamed on ‘jihadi terrorism'”. The internal scare-quotes are theirs. The body says:

Spain’s Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said Barcelona was the victim of “jihadi terrorism”…

In other words, LA Times won’t call it jihadi terrorism; it will only report neutrally the fact that, oddly, for some strange reason that one might not be able to fathom, others choose to leap to that conclusion.

This fits in with the [Left] Media Complex Playbook that V mentioned a couple days ago.

  • If the car is driven by a mentally-ill white supremacist and kills 1 person, it’s proof that Republicans are Nazis, America is in the grip of an epidemic of racism, Trump is the KKKing of racists, and lefties are correct to physically bash their opponents.
  • But if the cars (multiple) are driven by consciously-religious Muslims and kill 14 people, it’s not proof of anything except that Muslims are victims of hate crimes by Republicans – and lefties are correct to physically bash their opponents.

We condemn racists – and violent socialists

Racism is stupid and wrong.

Violating others’ rights to their own life, liberty and property is stupid and wrong.

Therefore, slavery is stupid and wrong. Discrimination is stupid and wrong. Crime is stupid and wrong. Tyranny/dictatorship is stupid and wrong. And socialism is stupid and wrong.

We condemn and disavow the racist, criminal and/or tyrannical beliefs and actions that manifest among neo-Nazis, KKK, white identitarians, any of the #WhiteLivesMatter types of U.S. citizens.

We condemn the racist, criminal and/or tyrannical beliefs and actions that manifest among the Antifa, #BlackLivesMatter or any other left-wing types of U.S. citizens.

We condemn and disavow criminal violence wherever it manifests, whether among Alt Left demonstrators, Alt Left nutcases (like that guy who shot up Congress), Alt Right demonstrators, or Alt Right nutcases (like that guy who rammed his car at counter-demonstrators).

To the extent that they can keep it non-violent, we support both the Alt Left and Alt Right in exercising their First Amendment right to demonstrate. However stupid or offensive their statements may seem.

We support Liberty under the Rule of Law, including the First Amendment. #AllLivesMatter

We note that the Democrat party is the party of institutional and historical racism in the U.S. And the party of socialism. As such, we call upon all Democrats to disavow the violence and bigotry that manifest among the Antifa and #BlackLivesMatter types of people; which, at present, most Democrats are busy denying or excusing.

In a saner world, all of the above statements would be obvious and non-controversial. Perhaps not even needing to be said.

There Is Another Way

A black man has devoted his life to befriending KKK members. His friendship has persuaded many people to leave the organization. This is what effective resistance to white supremacy looks like. People who go at it with clubs and rocks are just looking to make violence.

Daryl Davis has a unique hobby.

In his spare time, he befriends white supremacists. Lots of them. Hundreds. He goes to where they live. Meets them at their rallies. Dines with them in their homes. He gets to know them because, in his words, “How can you hate me when you don’t even know me? Look at me and tell me to my face why you should lynch me.”

He also is a collector of KKK robes. He collects them as souvenirs when KKK members decide to give up on racism because of his friendship.

Davis, a Christian, has met with white supremacists for three decades. He never tries to convert the Klansmen. He simply becomes friends with them and they give up the KKK on their own. According to an interview with The Independent, Davis is “happy” to be friends with former Klansmen.

Before they decided that it was okay to “punch Nazis,” the left used to claim that violence only begets violence, that using violence only perpetuated a “cycle of violence.” But now, they’re all like… “Violence, yeah man, violence. Far out.”

Racism and violence are left-wing, part II

Our leftie commentors’ response to yesterday’s post on this was interesting – by what they never said. First, only 2 showed up. (Not that we have many to begin with, but on something big and controversial, usually they’ll support each other a bit more.) Second, they made zero effort to address the post’s main points:

  • that Nazis were/are socialists.
  • that, in all of American history (including today), the Democrats/Left have been the side of racist thinking (or racial categories), racial segregation, so-called “eugenics”, etc.
  • that there is nothing right-wing about the so-called Alt Right of 2017; excepting alone their choice to *claim* that they are somehow rightist.
    • (In 2016 or earlier, some actual rightists did adopt the “Alt Right” label thinking it was kicky and fun, but discarded the label when the #WhiteLivesMatter racists took it over.)
  • that, despite appearances, it’s ideologically and psychologically easy for white supremacists and hard leftists/Democrats to change into each other, pretend to be each other, etc.
  • Because the essence of both sides is tribal collectivism and the desire to punish one’s dissenting or dissimilar neighbor.

By contrast – What is it, to be conservative or right-wing? I’m no expert but the answers usually given will boil down to:

  1. Standing up for tradition. E.g., Catholic or other Christian rightists (whom, by the way, the Nazis hated). In the UK, it could mean monarchists supporting the Queen.
  2. Standing up for Liberty under the Rule of Law. In America, this means a love of everyone’s constitutional rights to life, liberty and property.

Neither are what white supremacists stand for. What they stand for is their approximation of racism-with-socialism; in other words, left-wing politics.

When will we start labeling them, not on the basis of what they *claim* to be (for some horrible marketing purpose of their own), but on the basis of their actual views? “Alt Left” would be closer.

For dessert: Steven Crowder on The Top 3 Ways in which Antifa and white nationalists are the same. In brief:

  1. Both readily disregard the law and Constitution.
  2. Both promote identity politics and play the Victim card.
  3. Both support Big Government / left-liberal policies (e.g., both want nationalized / single-payer health care).
  4. Bonus round: Both hate Israel.

Also, V the K’s comment:

The other truth that must not be spoken: The left is absolutely thrilled and delighted with what happened in Charlottesville.

The only way it could have made them happier is if their Antifa protesters had been shot by an NRA member.

The truth that must not be spoken: Racism and violence are left-wing

Commenter Sarah kindly pointed us to this report about Jason Kessler, a leader of the #WhiteLivesMatter Charlottesville march.

Rumors abound on white nationalist forums that Kessler’s ideological pedigree before 2016…point[s] to involvement in the Occupy movement and past support for President Obama.

You do have to take it with a grain of salt, because it comes from the highly-dysfunctional Southern Poverty Law Center. Still, it’s plausible when you remember that in 2008, white supremacists tended to support then-Candidate Obama. (Original Esquire article here; in case that ever goes away, my comment here captures some bits.)

OK, so why would white supremacists (whether full-fledged, or just potential ones) align with left-wing causes, such as Occupy Wall Street and Barack Obama? The answer is in the linked Esquire article. In brief,

  • White supremacists know a fellow racist when they see one. (They admired President Obama’s “racial consciousness”.) And,
  • They admire fellow socialists.

That’s right. Racism and socialism go together, as the Nazis proved. The Nazis were socialists; if you don’t believe me, check out the list of evidence in this earlier post.

We also know it from American history. Democrats fought to preserve slavery (whereas the Republicans freed the slaves). Democrats formed and manned the KKK; instituted the Jim Crow laws; invented Planned Parenthood specifically to abort black babies (look into Margaret Sanger sometime); and defended racial segregation well into the 1970s. And the youngest, most “progressive” lefties are bringing back racial segregation, here in the 2010s.

At some point, Democrats did flip the racist script and turn into brown supremacists (rather than white supremacists), but the dynamic is the same: An obsession with racial categories and race preferences/stigmatizing. It stems from Tribalism, which goes hand-in-hand with Collectivism, which is the philosophical root of socialism.

That’s why racism is left-wing. As to the violence: The essence of the socialist or “progressive” project is the use of force – that is, violence – to punish one’s neighbor for being better-off AND/or for not submitting enough to leftist nonsense and virtue-signalling.

In other words: leftism is violent inherently. In its nature, left-wing politics is a wish to see violence being done to those of your neighbors who won’t be or do or say what you want. Whereas pro-liberty or genuine right-wing politics is a wish for people to be able to avoid each other when they want.

All of this makes it wrong to claim that violent racists are from the Right. And that is part of why I keep calling the Charlottesville march a #WhiteLivesMatter thing, rather than using the false and misleading “Unite the Right” name given by its organizers. What those guys stood for has nothing to do with the Right’s love of life, liberty and property.

But leftists will claim that violent racists are rightists anyway. Because every American knows instinctively that racism and political violence are both bad. To stay in business, the Left must, at all costs, deflect and project-away the blame for it.

Thus we get the accusational, virtue-signalling frenzies like the one against President Trump today, which I just noted.

A new frenzy in the push to overturn the 2016 election

In the wake of Charlottesville on Saturday, President Trump said things like this (from various news articles):

We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides, on many sides. It’s been going on for a long time in our country. There’s no place in America (for this). What is vital now is a swift restoration of law and order and the protection of innocent lives.

We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. We must remember this truth: No matter our color, creed, religion or political party, we are ALL AMERICANS FIRST.

It’s exactly what needs saying. Because Antifa and #BlackLivesMatter are at least as bigoted and violent (and probably more so) than the detestable #WhiteLivesMatter types who marched in Charlottesville. All Americans should condemn all bigoted violence from all sides, because #AllLivesMatter.

Nonetheless, the Controlled Media and the Left (but I repeat myself) were furious, claiming that Trump had somehow *not* denounced white supremacists. Because he hadn’t done so “by name”, or something. Do you see the game, here? No matter what he says: complain. Keep claiming it’s not enough.

How do we know that’s the game? Because, as of this morning, Trump went even farther:

President Trump delivered a statement from the White House on Monday explicitly condemning violent white supremacists.

“Racism is evil,” Trump said from the White House Diplomatic Room. “And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”

“As I have said many times before, no matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws,” the president said. “We all salute the same great flag. And we are all made by the same almighty God.”

And is it enough for them, now? Of course it isn’t. You’ll never guess the new complaint:

In his statement Monday, Trump did not use the word “terrorism” to describe the car attack in Charlottesville.

That’s right: NOW, all the sudden, the media/Left luuuuuuuvv the word “terrorism” and want to see it used. Joining the pile-on are longtime Trump opponents who really should know better:

“It’s very important for the nation to hear @potus describe events in #Charlottesville for what they are, a terror attack by #whitesupremacists,” Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., tweeted.

OK, suppose Trump calls it terrorism. What happens next? They’ll come up with a new line of attack. This game is endless, it’s empty, and it’s only a new chapter in the Establishment’s effort to de-legitimize Trump and overturn the 2016 election.

It also shows the Establishment’s (and the Left’s – but I repeat myself) spectacular hypocrisy. Again, Antifa and #BlackLivesMatter are at least as bigoted and violent as the groups whom Trump condemned today. But the Establishment/Left won’t condemn those groups and don’t want their own hypocrisy and bigotry (in refusing to condemn) to be highlighted.

For dessert: This video shows that Trump called out David Duke as “a bigot, a racist, a problem, this is not exactly the people you want”…Years ago. He went there, he did that, long ago.
