By this point in Trump’s Presidency Michael Flynn was being investigated for Russian ties to spark up a 3 year investigation. The federal government was activated against its own boss (The Leader of the Free World) by direction of the Media and DC Establishment through feigned outrage and a constant shouting of “OUR NORMS”. Flash forward to today, right wingers are debating **checks notes** just HOW MUCH they disagree with a would-be unknown Republican Georgia Congresswoman. Way to keep your eye on the ball conservatives!
We are still neck-deep in a pandemic, Biden has yet to deliver on his promises to give the American people relief, Time Magazine revealed there was a massive coordinated effort which included all major institutions in America to “fortify” the election and republicans are dunking on **checks notes** Mike Lindell (the pillow commercial guy) and Lou Dobbs for being “crazy”. Gee it’s fun being a conservative.

The amount of perspective you would have to lack in order to waste your time opining on MTG, in any capacity, is frankly mind-blowing. Instead of holding the Biden Administration accountable for not providing the American People with relief (something he ran on), we have spent an entire week denouncing an unknown Georgia Congresswoman for statements she made on facebook. Do we have to re-read Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals people? Talk about a Master Class by the Media/DC Establishment.

If you thought the worst thing to come out of Nevada was the movie Showgirls then you’re not paying attention to Dem Governor Sisolak and his insane proposal to allow tech companies to form their own governments within the state.
While he calls them “Innovation Zones” they’re really miniature feudal domains run by our emerging masters in Silicon Valley. As the AP reports:
“The zones would permit companies with large areas of land to form governments carrying the same authority as counties, including the ability to impose taxes, form school districts and courts and provide government services.”
Surely the democratically-elected local governments would have the final say in how these zones are run? Nope.
“The zones would have three-member supervisor boards with the same powers as county commissioners. The businesses would maintain significant control over board membership.”
How much is “significant?” The governor isn’t saying. And just how can a company get these rotten boroughs? Money, of course. If a company promises to “invest” at least a billion dollars in the next ten years the state will sell your sovereignty to the highest bidder.
This is a disaster for democracy and for the American experiment. The holier-than-thou types in the media and government keep telling us “democracy is fragile.” It is. But their unholy alliance with big tech is actively undermining the only acceptable basis for their exercise of power: the consent of the governed.
In Defense of Marjorie Taylor Greene – sort of
If I lived in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District, I probably wouldn’t have voted for Greene in the primary. While I appreciate her vocal support for President Trump, she simply came with too much QAnon baggage for my tastes. That having been said, the Republicans of the 14th Congressional District did select Greene and then she won the general election (easily, I might add – winning almost 75% of the vote).
Greene’s views were no secret and neither were her history of making outrageous statements. Indeed, those views were widely broadcast by the mainstream media. Here is how Business Insider covered her win in the Georgia 14th Republican primary run-off:
Greene, a construction executive and a staunch Trump supporter, has come under scrutiny since securing a spot in the runoff not just for her far-right beliefs, but for repeatedly making racist, anti-Semitic, and Islamophobic comments in social media live streams and postings, and expressing support for the QAnon conspiracy, which posits that there is a cabal of Satanic, evil “Deep State” elites intent on bringing Trump down. She will now almost certainly be the first person to publicly express belief in the conspiracy to serve in Congress.
The current push to strip Greene of her committee assignments – and to possibly expel her – isn’t based on anything the Congresswoman has done since taking office. It is based entirely on things she said – things that were well known to the voters who elected her – before her election to Congress.
Congress isn’t to serve as a check on the voters. It doesn’t exist to expel or reprimand members duly elected by the voters of a Congressional district just because that member holds views others -rightfully or wrongfully so – find repugnant.
While establishment Republicans rush to “condemn” Greene, Democrats have done absolutely nothing at all to punish members of their caucus who push baseless conspiracy theories (like Maxine Waters decades long belief, with no evidence, that the CIA was secretly distributing crack cocaine in LA).
Greene’s opinions were well known to the voters of Georgia’s 14th Congressional district, Congress has absolutely no business punishing Greene for anything she said or did before being elected.
A Carnival of Corruption
Last month, Steven Nelson at The New York Post detailed the alarming number of Big Tech executives who are staffing the Biden transition and White House.
At least 14 current and former senior executives at major tech firms are in positions of tremendous influence and minimal oversight with access to the highest levels of our federal bureaucracy. That includes at least four from Facebook and the head of Amazon Web Services, best known for shutting down Parler.
It reminds me a bit of the Grant Administration — called the “Carnival of Corruption” in its day. Although everyone around Grant was taking bribes (including his VP, members of Congress, and nearly the entire cabinet) even Grant wasn’t corrupt enough to bring the likes of James Fiske and Jay Gould onto the government payroll!
Now, I’m not suggesting that anyone is bribing our leaders. Why would they have to? They’re getting all the power without spending a dime. The fusion of government and big tech is happening before our eyes. Are you scared? I am.

DON’T TELL MY 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER I’M DOING THIS
Hello folks,
This is my first post going undercover as a conservative opinion writer. My 8 year old daughter CAN NOT FIND OUT about my secret life as a conservative. Folks call it “splitting” – I call it, my own personal nightmare. I’m currently hiding in the guest room while she is doing “handstands to undo-whiteness” in the kitchen. It bears repeating – DO NOT TELL HER ABOUT THIS!
Usually when I’m checking Twitter, she’s there, watching my every move. I feel compelled to write about her latest woke profundities to share with the rest of the world for fear she will have me cancelled or WORSE.
For example, today she said, “AOC didn’t need to be in the building to have FELT what it was like to be raped by white supremacists, we all felt it that day.” I had no choice but to post it in earnest!! Anyway, I look forward to giving my thoughts on all things political and cultural from up here in the guest room (under the bed) with regular updates on the state of my 8 year old (who totally exists).
