Rand Paul Is a Better Friend to Israel Than Barack Obama

November 18, 2014 by V the K

Some Palestinian Subhumans attacked a Synagogue in Jerusalem today (as opposed to, as CNN wishcasted, Israelis attacking a mosque). Five people were brutally killed. Subhuman Palestinians in Gaza erupted in celebration, just as they did on 9-11-2001

The POTUS took a break from denying he ever heard of the guy who wrote his signature piece of legislation and responded by grudgingly reading a perfunctory, formulaic statement that made moral equivalence between Palestinians committing terrorism and Israelis defending themselves from terrorism.

Libertarian Senator Rand Paul, on the other hand, put the blame squarely where it belongs.

“I am deeply saddened and alarmed by the attacks that took place early this morning in Israel. These men of faith were cruelly murdered as they were worshiping in their synagogue in Har Nof. I vow to Stand with Israel and I will continue to do all I can to protect Americans at home and abroad. This is a horrific act of violence that should be universally condemned. We must demand that Palestinian leaders stop the incitement, which they have committed in word and in deed. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Israel,” Sen. Paul said.

“A little rebellion now and then is a good thing”

March 8, 2014 by Jeff (ILoveCapitalism)

CPAC speeches! These guys, at least, understand what’s wrong with America – namely, Big Government – and the corresponding importance of liberty and small government:

  • Rick Perry on why Red States do better than Blue States.
  • Ted Cruz (scroll down). “If you were to sit down and try to design an agenda to hammer the living daylights out of young people, you couldn’t do better than the Obama economic agenda.”
  • Marco Rubio. “They love to sell Big Government as a way to help those who are trying to make it. What they don’t tell you is that they actually hurt the people who are trying to make it.”
  • Rand Paul. “You may think I’m talking about electing Republicans. I’m not. I’m talking about electing lovers of liberty. It isn’t good enough to pick the lesser of two evils.” And it gets better from there.
  • Sarah Palin. “There’s no free ride. Someone always pays. And if you don’t know who that someone is, it’s probably you.” – And too many other zingers to count. I love this woman!

That’s all I could watch in one sitting, while fighting my cold. Here is the full playlist; if you have a favorite, call it out in the comments!

Report from CPAC

March 16, 2013 by Bruce Carroll

Good Saturday morning.  I’m having a great week, but man it is exhausting.  I’m doing some reporting for ViralRead so here are the posts I’ve done so far.

Cantor Delivers Heavy Steak Dinner on Friday Afternoon at #CPAC2013

Anyone looking for a quick sugar pick-me-up at the end of a long day at CPAC today would have been disappointed by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.  He instead delivered a meat-packed meal with mashed potatoes and gravy for those who love School Choice and the economy.

#CPAC2013: Conservatives ‘Stand With Rand’ With Enthusiasm

Buzz about the 2016 Republican Presidential nomination race heated up this afternoon at CPAC when Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) followed Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) on the main stage.

Paul’s supporters were in full force and handing out “Stand With Rand” lapel stickers as CPAC attendees poured into the main ballroom.  Excitement for Paul is at a peak following his 13-hour filibuster on the U.S. Senate floor last week against the Obama Administration’s drone policy.

Sen. Paul came right out of the gate by joking that he only had ”ten measly minutes” at CPAC, but he brought 13 hours of information, just in case. Paul said he had a message for the President last week and today: “No one person gets to decide the law… No one person gets to decide your guilt or innocence.  My question was about whether Presidential power has limits.”

Again…. read it all!
