One Way to Deal with it

April 2, 2018 by V the K

One of the suggestions for dealing with Wedding Cake Fascists was that people who object to being forced to participate in gay weddings should tell prospective gay clients they will donate their fees to organizations gay leftists don’t like. Some victims have taken exactly that approach.

“Displayed at the bottom of each page in the ‘Weddings’ section of its website is a clearly marked disclaimer that reads”:
At Liberty Ridge Farm, our deeply held religious belief is that marriage is the union of one man and one woman, and the Farm is operated with the purpose of strengthening and promoting marriage. In furtherance of this purpose and to honor and promote our moral and religious beliefs, we donate a portion of our business proceeds to organizations that promote strong marriages such as the Family Research Council.

Good for them, although it’s sad that the disrespect the gay left holds for basic human rights forces them into this position. No doubt, the HRC or some other parasite organization is trying to figure out if they can sue to block them from donating to the cause of their choice.

Wedding Cake Fascism, Act V; Scene I

December 6, 2017 by V the K

My opinion on Wedding Cake Fascism has been abundantly clear; in line with my libertarian principles and the Non-Aggression Principle, I don’t believe the Government has any right to force any business to sell to any customer they don’t want to. Full Stop.

Nevertheless, oral arguments at the Supreme Court happened yesterday. I’m pretty sure it will come down to 5-4 ruling in favor of Wedding Cake Fascism because Old Man Kennedy — who found a right to “dignity” in the Constitution to make gay marriage the law of the land — will find that “dignity” requires forcing Christians to bake cake for gay weddings (but not Mohammedans to transport leader dogs for blind people).

There were some interesting (interesting being a euphemism for horrifying) comments made by the wedding cake fascist side, including this one:

Chief Justice Roberts: “So Catholic Legal Services would be put to the choice of either not providing any pro bono legal services or providing those services in connection with the same-sex marriage?”

Colorado lawyer: “Yes”

Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who is perhaps the dumbest person to ever sit on the Supreme Court, had this to say after the baker’s lawyer said people shouldn’t be forced into expressive activities that support gay marriage: “Then don’t participate in weddings!”

Get it? The wedding cake fascists are arguing that if you engage in business, you forfeit any right to choose who you do business with.  And if you don’t want to do business with certain people, you shouldn’t start a business. It’s analogous to saying you forfeit your 3rd Amendment rights by owning a house. (If you don’t want to quarter troops, don’t own a house.) If you don’t want your property searched without a warrant, just don’t have property.

I am pretty much done with this topic. I wouldn’t even have said anything were it not for the very scary and fascistic assertions made by Sotomayor and the Colorado lawyer at the SCOTUS. Anyway, CFG wrote a piece about it, but it’s nothing I haven’t said already: Why I Don’t Want to Force Anybody to Bake a Cake for My Gay Wedding.

Also, Matt Walsh has been commenting on what a nasty pair of vindictive little bitches are the gay couple who started this lawsuit. I think he’s right, they do seem bitter and self-loathing. People who respect themselves and are self-validating don’t need to have the state bully people for not  liking them.

How hypocritical and low is the Left? This low

August 8, 2017 by Jeff (ILoveCapitalism)

Bakers refuse a pro-Trump 9-year-old’s cake request.

When it becomes a thing, The Washington Post reveals the kid’s name, his hometown and his mother’s name. Also known as doxxing.

To be clear: I believe in freedom of association. I think the bakers should be able to refuse. Just like Christian bakers should be able to refuse the wedding cakes of gay couples.

But the Left takes the opposite view: that bakers shouldn’t be able to refuse any of the public. Fine, except for one very big thing.

Lefties care ONLY about making Christian bakers serve gays. When it comes to making ordinary bakers serve a kid who likes the President, the Left is nowhere to be found; or even doxxes the poor kid. Disgraceful!

It Is Illegal to Sell Blueberries in East Lansing, Michigan Unless You Support Gay Marriage

May 31, 2017 by V the K

Talk about your absurd laws.

For the past seven years, Steve Tennes and his family have sold their produce at the farmer’s market owned by the city of East Lansing.

But this year – city officials told the devout Catholic family that their blueberries and sweet corn were not welcome at the farmer’s market – and neither were they.

Last year, someone posted a message on Country Mill’s Facebook page inquiring about whether they hosted same-sex weddings at the farm.

Tennes told the individual they did not permit same-sex marriages on the farm because of the family’s Catholic belief that marriage is a sacramental union between one man and one woman.

City officials later discovered the Facebook posting and began immediate action to remove Country Mill from the Farmer’s Market – alleging the family had violated the city’s discrimination ordinance.

The wedding cake fascists aren’t content to dictate to business owners that they must participate in gay marriages regardless of their personal beliefs; they will now monitor your Facebook posts and ban you from participating in commerce on the basis of your personal beliefs. (All in the name of protecting gay people from hurt feelings.)

Scary Times.

“Rape” Means Nothing Anymore

April 26, 2015 by V the K

Apparently, if you are a hypersensitive Lesbian Wedding-Cake Fascist, the mere act of someone declining to participate in your lesbian wedding is equivalent to “mental rape.”

One of the women, whose name was redacted to protect her privacy, listed 88 symptoms as grounds for compensation. The other, whose name was also redacted, listed 90.

Examples of symptoms include “acute loss of confidence,” “doubt,” “excessive sleep,” “felt mentally raped, dirty and shameful,” “high blood pressure,” “impaired digestion,” “loss of appetite,” “migraine headaches,” “pale and sick at home after work,” “resumption of smoking habit,” “shock” “stunned,” “surprise,” “uncertainty,” “weight gain” and “worry.”

And you, as the victim of such an unimaginable atrocity, are entitled to use the Power of the State to destroy the life of the person who declined to participate in your lesbian wedding.

So, just as anything a terrorist complains about is now “torture,” so is anything a woman complains about “rape.”

I didn’t think I could feel any more contempt for the wedding cake fascists than I already did. I was wrong.

Speaking of rape, consider what happens when a female college student makes a false accusation of rape:

1. She gets vengeance at the guy who didn’t reciprocate her feelings for him.

2. The university administration collaborates with her to destroy the guy’s life.

3. She becomes a heroine to the Leftist Establishment for promoting their narrative of “Rape Culture.”

4. Even when the allegations are proven false, she suffers absolutely no adverse consequences for lying and slandering an innocent man.

Pretty powerful incentives to induce women to lie about rape, right?

Indiana Stands for Freedom

March 26, 2015 by V the K

Indiana has passed a religious freedom bill to guarantee that business owners have as much right to choose with whom to do business as their customers do.

In a statement, Pence said the bill “is about respecting and reassuring Hoosiers that their religious freedoms are intact. I strongly support the legislation and applaud the members of the General Assembly for their work on this important issue.”

Proponents have argued the bill doesn’t target gays and lesbians specifically — but that it does protect businesses that don’t support same-sex marriage from having to provide services for those ceremonies.

Which is as it should be.

If the wedding cake fascists on the left don’t like that such-and-such a business does not wish to service such-and-such a customer, then they have the option of not using that business, and encouraging others not to as well.

You either believe in freedom or you don’t; and freedom means that sometimes you have to tolerate people having the right to make choices you don’t agree with.

Should a Jewish bakery be forced by the State to bake this cake?
Should a Jewish bakery be forced by the State to bake this cake?

By the way, the left still supports and encourages state-sanctioned discrimination against Christians.

Human Rights Commission Says the Freedom to Practice Religion Is not a Human Right

October 8, 2014 by V the K

The Human Rights Commission of Lexington KY justifies the gay fascist bullying campaign against Christian businesses who don’t wish to participate in gay weddings and other events by saying Christians should only be allowed to practice religion within their homes and churches.

The Human Rights Commission in Lexington, Kentucky has a chilling message for Christian business owners who refuse service to LGBT organizations: leave your religion at home.

“It would be safe to do so, yes,” Executive Director Raymond Sexton told me. “Or in this case you can find yourself two years down the road and you’re still involved in a legal battle because you did not do so.”

Under Obama, the First Amendment has been amended by an activist judiciary. Anyone who opens a business forfeits his Constitutional rights, and the right to the free exercise of religion is conditioned upon no special LGBTQWRXYZ snowflakes get their feelings hurt.
