You know by now that President Trump met with Vladimir Putin, spoke about many issues, established a Syria cease-fire and a working group to prevent either country hacking the other’s future elections.
Apparently, peace with Russia is bad if you’re in the U.S. Deep State because their representatives are squawking.
- Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) says, “We might as well mail our ballot boxes to Moscow.”
- Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is butthurt over the prospect of de-escalating the Russia and Syria confrontations, saying we need to defend American “supremacy” and “the New World Order”.
Also, he wants Democrats to have a large say in Obamacare repeal; which means he wants the substance of Obamacare to go unchanged.
- Likewise, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is all about not moving on, despite “No evidence of collusion that I’ve seen”.
- And Obama’s CIA director, John Brennan, is so outraged that Trump doesn’t take the Russia hacking narrative at face value (just as I don’t) that he calls Trump “dishonorable” for having greeted Putin politely.
Note: To the extent that Russian election interference happens in the U.S. or elsewhere: I condemn it, and yes we should act to prevent it.
Now, what about Saudi interference in U.S. elections? Or China’s? And what about U.S. election interference in Russia, Germany, Japan, the UK (Obama threatening UK voters over Brexit) and elsewhere? Why are these people outraged so selectively?
